But first, I portioned two birds into wings, legs, thighs and one breast (bone-in), and saved the second breast for tonight. It's seasoned and patiently waiting in the fridge.
Then I stashed the rest in the freezer drawer and once we've gobbled 'em up, I buy more, and get my good knife.
Love that.

Have a happy nap!
ReplyDeleteBard: Just a short one. 20min. to 2 hours, tops.
ReplyDeleteChicken goodness, you should have read the last line of my post!
ReplyDeleteLurker: I did see that you had your fingers crossed. Oh ... wait, is that so hell wouldn't freeze over? Because I checked to be sure that it didn't.
ReplyDeleteWith your fingers crossed you can lie with impunity!
ReplyDeleteLurker: See here and I thought you were crossing them to keep hell from freezing over. Totally missed the lie with impunity part.
ReplyDeleteDuh.
Told ya I was sleepy.
You could almost do the Twelve Days of Christmas with all of that!
ReplyDeleteIs that anything like two turntables and a microphone?
ReplyDeleteAlex: Ending with, one good knife.
ReplyDeletebliss: Yes, only much quieter.
ah, a nap. I haven't had one of those in a while. They seem so ...indulgent.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a nice kip, I could do with one myself!!
ReplyDeleteI love naps and plan to take one the day after Christmas, maybe for the entire day.
ReplyDeletemshatch: Not in awhile? But they're so great.
ReplyDeleteRay: Kip? I love learning new words.
Susan: Ah ... the nappy nap. So great. Wishing you a Scary Christmas and an Oogie Boogie New Year.
