Suck on THAT

Oh my gosh, I just ate the best breakfast, ever. Apple, medjool dates and organic unsweetened peanut butter.

So flippin' good.

But before that, I went outside to take pictures of the leaves changing. I know, I know, some of you are still celebrating summer but boy, not me. I've got pumpkin spice on the brain and apples in the oven.

Last night, I made grilled applesauce. Heaven. Absolute, heaven. More on that later as right now, I'm done reading blogs and off for my walk. Last time, I did 90 minutes. So suck on that immune system.

Suck on that.

    1. Spring I think, but then I love the fall and enjoy seeing all the snow we get in the winter.

    2. When I lived on the east coast, I loved Spring. Where I am now, though, we have MUD and very little to no spring. But before here, spring and fall were tied. Do you get nice springs, there?

    3. Yes we do, but locally they seem to be pretty short though. I love it when that pale green colour shows on the trees - a colour only seen for a short while in the spring. We also get beautiful fall colours too.

  9. Oh, the colours are lovey!

Soon it'll be time for snow, snow, and more snow.

    2. I can't seem to finish my comments properly lately. My fingers are typing faster than my brain and I'm making weird statements. It looks almost as if I'm drinking...hahaha... Either way, it's even weirder that you know exactly what I meant to say! And in this case it's that the trees are happily looking forward to that long winter snooze. Or some such thing :)

    2. I like the traditional double crust, when it's done right, pie crust can be very tasty.

  17. So, inquiring minds want to know how you combined your apple, dates, and peanut butter for breakfast :-)

    1. That's my bad, Kathy. I didn't think to post it. It's a cored organic apple, sliced into rounds. With peanut butter schmeared on one round along with dates, then topped with another apple piece.

      My favorite little sandwich.

    2. Sounds yummy, and I have all those things in the house! (Although our apples are conventional, not organic)

    3. To go organic or not is a personal thing. But if you are interested, I sent you an email on how to get some of the muckies off those skins.

Either way though, I hope you enjoy the apple sandwich, it's one of my favorites.

      Enjoy :-)
