Ready to Rumble: Sunday Bake

It's early afternoon here at The Manor and in the oven, is one banana bread bake. The formula isn't mine and doesn't call for the ANY warm spices. But that's okay, because each time I practice a recipe from another baker, I always do it their way. Because after all, I'm here to learn from them.

Me, I already know.

As for yesterday's apple bake, I didn't get to put it together due to a nap emergency. But today, I'm rested and and ready to rumble. Which means I'm off to go prep my next bake, as I wait for the banana bread to finish.

Meanwhile, here's a short clip.

    1. Just one, but I thought he was a Twinkie. They make a lot of noise when you bite into them. And just for the record, it tasted nothing like a Twinkie.

  6. That almond flour looks really nice. I've never baked with it but I see it at the market all the time. I should buy some and try some recipes. A friend of mine uses it all the time and she loves it!

    1. Hey Jo: Almond meal is thicker and almond flour, more light and airy. Both serve well for various applications, but meals and flours are not the same.
