It's early afternoon here at The Manor and in the oven, is one banana bread bake. The formula isn't mine and doesn't call for the ANY warm spices. But that's okay, because each time I practice a recipe from another baker, I always do it their way. Because after all, I'm here to learn from them.
Me, I already know.

As for yesterday's apple bake, I didn't get to put it together due to a nap emergency. But today, I'm rested and and ready to rumble. Which means I'm off to go prep my next bake, as I wait for the banana bread to finish.
Meanwhile, here's a short clip.
Love that you always follow the other baker's recipe because you already know yourself, lol. Happy Baking!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the learning :-)

ReplyDeleteThanks. Love all your fun posts.
DeleteDid your banana bake attract Minions?
ReplyDeleteJust one, but I thought he was a Twinkie. They make a lot of noise when you bite into them. And just for the record, it tasted nothing like a Twinkie.
DeleteHahahaha.
DeleteThat almond flour looks really nice. I've never baked with it but I see it at the market all the time. I should buy some and try some recipes. A friend of mine uses it all the time and she loves it!
ReplyDeleteReally is one of my favorites, but so far, I like my homemade almond flour better than ready made.
DeleteHope you give it a go. Fun stuff.

DeleteI am sure the banana bread is delish. I always slather mine with peanut butter;)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever made peanut butter frosting? Fluffy and yum?
DeleteI've used ground almonds for baking, but not almond flour. Unless it's more or less the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHey Jo: Almond meal is thicker and almond flour, more light and airy. Both serve well for various applications, but meals and flours are not the same.
DeleteNow I'm hungry. Always interesting to use other types of flour.
ReplyDeleteYes, there's so much fun to be had when it comes to making flours. Do you bake?
