Hello Boogerbutts. Who's having a yummy lunch right now? I just ate round apple slices filled with unsweetened peanut butter and medjool dates. My gosh, I love that combo.
Anyway, I'm cleaning the house, doing the bedding and just about to kick the pups out of The Lemon Tart Room.
In other news, Tim put in for his 10 day Halloween staycation and, as long as they don't schedule his out of town training for that week, we'll be good to go.
Rah.
Booyah no rashes! Never had peanut butter with dates, but sounds like worth a try :)
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my top picks for combos.
DeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteI am, thanks.
DeleteHow goes you today? What's for lunch/supper?
I just finished my lunch. Corned beef on Russian rye.
ReplyDeleteI cannot remember if I've had corned beef or not. Love rye bread though. Yum.
DeleteIvy, I love your header and all your sketches...and your handwriting as well! :) I love this time of year (Autumn is coming), as the root veggies, which I love so much, (turnips, carrots, potatoes, onions and beets) are bountiful and at great prices! :)
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good harvest at great prices.
DeleteYay for no rashes.
ReplyDeleteI can eat peanut butter on about anything. I love it on banana bread.
Enjoy your home vacay.
It is good on banana bread.
DeleteOh, just got my question from the last post answered. Okay, next. Apple slices, unsweetened peanut butter and dates! The absolute best. I can eat like that regularly. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteSo yum.
DeleteThat's a combo to try, sounds good to me! Like your "kitchen!"
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam.
DeleteHave you ever posted pictures of the lemon tart room? Is it as great as I imagine?
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the name. Though the walls are lemon tart yellow, the room often smells like pups and has hair on everything.
DeleteYay! No rashes. Good day, indeed. :)
ReplyDelete:-)
Deletethat IS a good day!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteHalloween Staycation sounds a lot of fun ...
ReplyDeleteNo rashes GOOD news

All the best Jan

ReplyDeleteDo you chop up the dates in the peanut butter.

I rip them with my fingers and make an apple sandwich. About to have another one, now.
DeleteGood luck with the staycation, eating scones for breakfast
ReplyDeleteIan
Did you make the scones? Yum.
DeleteI bet his work loves that he takes time off then vs the other major holidays for as long! What a grea tidea. So does he do a few before Halloween and and a few afterwards?
ReplyDeleteWe jsut went to the frist "spirit" stroe opening up to see if we could find any closing touches to our fun outfits for this year.
What was I eating? Can't recall now.
I think it's the Friday before Halloween and then the whole week, following.
DeleteDid you get any closing touches at the Halloween store? Do you guys have those displays there, that when you step here, the display comes to life?
