BUT, the trip to Whole Foods was a success. Lots of fun ingredients, including fresh local figs, new flours and MORE organic nuts. Which is good, because the nut butter in the clip (with formula) below, is gone, gone, gone.
Friday Question: Do you like nut butters?
Hmm, sounds as though to Owners are in the wrong business. You shouldn't enter the "people business" unless you can handle/get along with people: a.k.a. customers!
ReplyDeleteLOL
I don't use them much but it sounds good!
ReplyDeletePeanut butter, haven't tried many others but guess I need to now.
ReplyDeleteLike Pam, above...peanut butter is my thang.....:)
ReplyDeleteI like almond butter but I do live peanut butter. Peanut butter and pickles on toast is very good!
ReplyDeleteCashew butter is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like cashew and almond butters okay, but I'm a sucker for good ol' peanut butter, especially if it has some honey in it.
ReplyDeleteBut at the moment, I'm salivating over that picture of chocolate cream pie.
Surprisingly we have yet to explore nut butters... I am now intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Susan, the pie is quite entrancing and the idea of a chocolate peanut butter (or other nut butter) pie is even more exciting!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
The owners are in the wrong business if they're griping about customers.
ReplyDeleteI love peanut butter. That chocolate cream pie looks very good.:) Have a great day/evening. Take care and thanks for stopping by my PPF post.
ReplyDeleteI like almond butter. I should try more types of nut butters..
ReplyDeleteThat chocolate cream pie looks good!
Love almond butter and this look soo good Ivy!
ReplyDeleteMy newest favorite is sunflower seed butter (which I get from Trader Joe's). I had to look around for an alternative when Whole Foods stopped carrying their house-brand almond butter a couple of years ago.
ReplyDeleteNope, but looks delicious. Peanut butter is the most common for those of us not real talented in the kitchen. Sounds good, especially almond butter. Love, almonds.
ReplyDeleteFresh figs! I LOVE LOVE LOVE fresh figs. The only way I'll eat them. Yum yum yum.
ReplyDeleteAnd that nut butter looks so delicious. I'll have to jot down what you're saying in the video (ingredients) and make this. I think I'd really enjoy the homemade type.
Did you notice the bug crawling along the wood in your picture? I eat Nutella and that's about it.
ReplyDeleteI love having a mooch around antique shops ... but shame the one you visited wasn't over friendly!
ReplyDeleteYour butter sounds good!
Have a lovely weekend.
All the best Jan
I've never actually met a nut butter.
ReplyDeleteWe have a shop here where the shop owner is either an alien or a grumpy robot.
I never had any other kind of nut butter than peanut, I am so not adventurous!
ReplyDeleteBOOGERBUTTS: Thanks to all who commented. And yes, to Jo ... I did see the wiggly wormy guy. But decided to leave him in.
