Friday Question: Remember This?

Remember these? Coated in white glazed-sugar and sticky fruit filling? I also remember the wax wrapper.  Now I make my own but back then, I probably went with cherry or lemon as my top pick.

How about you?

PS: It's our wedding anniversary weekend and we are headed out soon to have some fun.

Have a groovy day and boogie booogie.

  1. My mother used to buy those for our lunches where we were little. All that sugar....

  2. I liked the apple and blueberry best. Mmmm... I'm sure they don't taste as good as I remember, so I won't bother ruining that memory and checking them out (because I do believe they're still sold). :)

    Happy Anniversary 4/4/15!!

    1. Thanks, Stacy.

Yes, it is funny, the memory is better, I would not want to spoil that. Now it's homemade, only.

  3. Green apple of course. Green apple pie makes Hulk poop. Big poop makes Hulk less grumpy.

  4. I remember the fruit pies, but I was more of a Ho Ho, and Ding Dong girl. That just doesn't sound right, does it? Have a very happy anniversary, Ivy!

  7. OMG, I totally remember those. Big fan of cherry (though I went through a lemon-only phase at one point).

You guys have fun on your outing!

  8. I remember the green guy - I think I dated him once. But, as to those yummy treats, I think he was holding out on me.

Enjoy your anniversary outing… or inning… you never how these things play out! (as a huge Meat Loaf fan you gotta know that Paradise by the Dashboard Light is playing in the background)

    Have fun!

  11. We never had them when I was little ... a very long long long time ago.
The kids rarely had them. But cherry and lemon was the best when we did.

Happy Anniversary and have a great weekend.
