Frankenberry bought me a coffee/spice grinder for our anniversary and oh my gosh, I love this machine.
Last night I made millet flour, chia seed flour, flax meal and cashew flour. I made so many different samples, that I can't even list them all.
I love this toy!
Nifty !
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time you will have.
I gave my son my old Krups coffee grinder, looks just like yours but in red, for him to use when he is grinding his spices for his cooking.
cheers, parsnip
Yes, spices too. Homemade paprika coming up. All kinds of fun.
DeleteWhat did you buy to replace your Krups?
I am lazy I buy ground coffee now. I have lost interest in grinding the beans. Just too much trouble.
DeleteI have a friend who roasts and grinds the coffee for me. So I keep it sealed well and in the freezer as I use it.
Very neat that she does that for you.
DeleteDoes the coffee bean smell stay in the Krups after using it?
Glad you finally got it!
ReplyDeleteSo so happy. Really fun.
DeleteI would never use it for coffee, but I can see us grinding other stuff in it.
ReplyDeleteI know, you are Coffer Hater Man.
DeleteSo many other wonderful things to make, homemade paprika, flours, meals, powders. The list goes on and on and on.
and you really can use it for coffee too ? ;)
ReplyDeleteYeppers. Sells primarily as a coffee grinder but is perfect for seeds flours.
DeleteWe just discovered that our Nutri Bullet grinds coffee. We can do twice as much in half the time.
ReplyDeleteWonderful find for you guys. Very cool. I hear the bullet is also good when mixing solid coconut oil.
