Here's another question for you. I have to drink decaf coffee for a few weeks and I'm having a bear of a time finding one that I like. Most taste like a twice baked ashtray.
Any suggestions?
If it's dried corn, it's a weird shape.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion - stop licking ashtrays.
Not dried corn but you still get a few dead ants as everyone wins a prize here.
DeleteHappy Weekend :-)
Cashew nuts?
ReplyDeleteHave you read how decaf coffee can be made? Do you choose the "good" stuff?
Decided it's not cashew nuts.
DeleteHey Sheila - I only like to buy organic decaf but still having a problem finding a good one.
DeleteTomorrow we're gonna hit Wegmans though and try their whole bean organic, as well as get a second grinder.
Maybe that will work. Fingers crossed.
PS: I can't tell you the answer but I can tell you that cashew flour is delish!
Have you tried dandelion coffee? We used to drink that before I went back to the hard stuff.
DeletePS: Homemade cashew/almond milk makes for a tasty porridge.
DeleteI never saw that last question. My bad. No, not had that. I juice the greens from time to time but never drank them. I heard about someone making dandelion honey once (really just dandelions and sugar water), but haven't had that either.
DeleteI drink decaf all the time and buy our store's own brand. But I live in Canada and you don't LOL
ReplyDeletePeanuts
Hahaha, your comment made ma laugh. I live very close though, we have a good number of products from Canada, including my bake boxes. Cost a buck more but they were worth every additional penny.
DeleteNo on the peanuts but you still win a bag of dead ants and two fresh pickles because everyone wins, here.
Happy Weekend.
Cracked wheat for making kasha? Got no advice re decaf coffee, sorry. Never touch it myself.
ReplyDeleteSo close. You get the most dead ants of all. Those are spelt berries.
DeleteSome kind of seed (that's about as detailed as I'll get).
ReplyDeleteI drink Maxwell House Lite (1/2 caff) and like it. Folgers has the same thing, but Maxwell House is usually cheaper. As for completely decaff... I have no idea what would be good. Sorry.
Spelt berries.
DeleteThanks for the coffee info.
Wheat kernels? I'll just take the pickles please.
ReplyDeleteSpelt berries. I'll send you four. None will be coated in ants. I'm pretty sure.
DeleteNo idea on what this is.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand coffee, so I have no idea where to point you for ideas.
:-)
DeleteCould it be the material you use to make floor out of? or some kind of beans, vanilla coffee beans?
ReplyDeleteAre you going to package each ant in their own little coffin?
little coffins, haha. No, just one big clear zip bag.
DeleteDo you have to cut out caffeine? I think dark roast has less.
ReplyDeleteFor a little while, no caffeine.
DeleteI often can't taste the difference between decaf and caf. Those looked like peanuts at first glance, but then...
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty picky about my coffee. Most of it taste like ass.
DeleteDates.
ReplyDeleteI use to drink illy coffee for store bught they seem the best.
I have my friend roast my coffee and his is great. But I drink the real stuff.
cheers, parsnip
Not dates, but you still win.
DeleteI only have two cups of coffee a day and after that it's decaf. Recommended by my doctor. It's not too bad but certainly not the real deal. Are those fresh almonds? 'Cause I really could use some ants. Are they organic? :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking almonds too.
DeleteNot almonds, but yes, the ants are in fact, organic.
DeleteBoogerbutts: Dead ants and pickles for ALLLLL who commented today. Even if you got the answer wrong. You still get the prizes.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is ... spelt berries.
Oh, good...I missed out on the dead ants!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell one coffee from another.
I'll tell ya what, just for you, I'll send you a fresh bag. Enjoy sprinkled on pasta or rice.
