It's no secret, I love monsters. Preferably cartoon but also in classic, as in Boris playing The Monster and Mummy, or Bela as Drac. But there's also Fred as Mister Munster, and I love De Carlo as Lily. Hands down, she's the best chick monster in the history of ever. Or, at least in my eyes.
So ghouls and gals, what's your favorite monster(s)?
No legs means he won't run away.
ReplyDeleteNot the type of monster you're looking for, but favorite hands down - Godzilla.
Hi Alex. I'm learning my new program and ran out of leg space. Godzilla, good answer. Have a spooky weekend and Happy Halloween Season.
DeleteDRACULA UNTOLD movie with Luke Evans will actually open the whole monster movie series at Universal which will continue with MUMMY and some other films later on, so you will have tones of monsters in cinemas
ReplyDeleteI don't have any interest in Evans and that one. Maybe I'll change my mind but right now, eh ... not so much.
DeleteNo favorite for your pick though?
I'm awfully fond of Anjelica Huston as Morticia Addams. That dress!
ReplyDeleteShe wore it well.
DeleteThe abominable snow monster in Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. I love that guy.
ReplyDeleteThe Bumble. Can't go wrong with him. Fun pick.
DeleteYou know who's the biggest monster of that movie? Santa, seriously nobody realizes how much of a jerk he is to Rudolph until he goes missing.
DeleteI have to go with one of yours...
ReplyDeleteBoris as Frankenstein...
Loved when he visited the blind man...awwwww..
enjoy your weekend...boogie boogie!
We are off to the cottage...YIPPEE!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
The Monster, my ultimate number one pick. Great job on that one.
DeleteGreat that you're headed to the cottage. Enjoy and boogie boogie boogie.
Back!
DeleteIt poured buckets and blew like mad!
At least we had a fire and ate scrumptious crispy chicken thighs....
Have a boogie boogie Saturday night!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Arnold Vosloo as the Mummy.
ReplyDeleteI had to look him up but now I remember. Yes, he did a great job. Haven't seen those movies in a bit, I'll have to watch them again. Not sure if I saw the last one .... hmm ...
DeleteThanks for playing.
Cute! I don't like monsters, too scary, lol.
ReplyDeleteDon't like Monsters????
DeleteNot even the cute fun ones?
Ok cute funny ones!
DeleteMethinks Frankenstein.
ReplyDeleteExcellent pick.
DeleteFrankenstein's monster on Young Frankenstein. I like a little comedy with my monster. :)
ReplyDeletePeter Doyle, really the best.
DeleteHmmm... Animated Gargoyle. I don't know why. They've always just struck me as cool. Oh, and a close second is an animated skeleton. Again, don't know why.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a gargoyle on my desk that I friend bought me and named, Ivan. He broke, poor bugger.
DeleteThanks for playing, Chris.
Lurch, the butler and Uncle Fester come to mind. And Frankenstein is always cool. The vampire Lestat is a favourite (in Anne Rice's books; not the movie). Damien (creepy kid) in the movie Omen is great. And I loved Monsters, Inc. So cute. I could probably list a few more, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. Fun post!
ReplyDeleteLurch, another good one. Damien, he was creepy. Growing up we had a Damien next door that reminded me of the kid in the movie.
DeleteNormally, when I'm answering a question like this, it's gaming related. For movie monsters, I've always been a werewolf kind of guy, but lycanthropy is so played out these days. Mummies look the coolest.
ReplyDelete: )
For what it's worth, I think those "Monster High" dolls are pretty creative.
DeleteI should do a gamer monster one. That's a good idea. Thanks. Mummies do look the cool. I've always enjoyed them.
DeleteA friend of mine collects the Monster High dolls.
