We're headed to take the girls to the vet today. Bug has two tick bites and Wiggy keeps licking her left paw. I'll catch you later with a Friday Halloween Question.
Reminds me of my childhood hearing about the ticks. My friend had a few dogs and they lived in a rather "country" area. Every dog had at least one of those huge ticks on them.
His dad told him they were better on there than improperly removed. Except proper removal isn't that hard, now as an adult I know he was just one lazy idiot.
For example, one of those dogs lost it's mind and idiot dad took him out with a hunting rifle. What dogs have to suffer through because someone's too cheap to go to the vet. Oh people of South Carolina...
I have heard that about leaving the ticks in before as well. Lots of things people say, then others think they are real. We pulled both out with little problem.
As for shooting the pups as a way to put them down, I live in the country and it's true. Some of the men folk do that here as well. Farmer's as well, it's just how they do.
Happy Halloween, to you and Daisy. Hope you have something fun planned.
Hope the pups are all right.
ReplyDeleteEverything check out, good.
DeleteHope your furbabies are okay. Have a spooktacular day, Wonder Woman! Head over to my blog when you get a chance to watch a funny video.
ReplyDeleteI left a honkin' long comment on your blog when we got back from the vet. All is good (knock on a skeleton's head).
DeleteHappy Halloween. For us, it's a 3-day holiday weekend. Woohoo.
Just gave Frankenberry his lunch and both pups have been PASSED OUT, COLD, since we got back.
It's heaven. Heaven, I say. Heaven.
Aww, I hope the girls are okay. Happy Halloween! Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThanks and Happy Halloween, to you. The girls are doing good and currently passed out.

A visit to the vet... never a pleasant thing for them.
ReplyDeleteThat's true. Bug though didn't mind, Wiggy more scared but both did great with the vets and nurses. And they both got good checkups.

Sending them positive thoughts! Happy Halloween :)
ReplyDeleteThanks bunches & Happy Halloween.
