What I do though, is shape six portions before the first prove/rise/fermentation. This way, when I go to use them, they're ready to shape into pizza rounds or sub rolls.
No muss, no fuss. Just good simple food.
Meanwhile, my sore throat is gone and Poopyhead and the pups are now awake from their nappy naps. And, I just heard Ghost Adventures go on in the movie room.
It's a real nice Sunday, here at The Manor.
PS: I just realized this is post 744. Hot dog.
|This container may rest in or out of the fridge,|
depending on when I want to bake.
Can you freeze them? Not that I'd mind pizza for six meals straight.ReplyDelete
You could try. I'm not big on frozen dough. Rather, I leave the balls in the fridge for when I'm ready.Delete
That being said, I will sometimes make pizzas, and freeze those for my idea of fast food, later.
These though are only 72g balls. Designed for personal pan servings.
Now I'm thinking about making my own pizza dough this week along with a hundred other things I need to do. Happy SundayReplyDelete
Looking forward to hearing about your dough making adventures. So much fun. And relaxing.Delete
Happy Sunday, indeed.
Look at you fancy lady, you even got a book holder :)ReplyDelete
Tim got me that at Barnes with a coupon. It's bamboo. Really nice and folds away neatly.Delete
so delightful! Back in the old days when the publishers used to send me paper copies of books to translate instead of the ones in Word or PDF, I wanted to buy somekind of holder which would hold the book open in front of my computer while I translate, but we don't have such things here.... and now most publishers send just electronic copiesDelete
I love paper copies. Though I try and read from the tablet, books, I still like in book form.Delete
Do you enjoy your translating job? It sounds neat that you get to work from home, too.
I enjoyed it when I had it... due to this crises all publishers have more or less ceased their work and I've only translated about two books in last two years :(((Delete
Oh my. That is unfortunate. I'm sorry to hear this news.Delete
Good that the sore throat's done and gone.ReplyDelete
I am happy it is. Didn't want it to turn into a full-blown cold or worse. I tell ya, resting in the movie room was a big help. So easy.Delete
How went your weekend?
You're super organized in the kitchen. It certainly makes it all that much more fun. I love homemade dough. Nothing quite like it!ReplyDelete
We changed things up and make rolls. Oh my gosh, fluffy, soft, airy, amazing. Nothing quite like it, indeed.Delete
How was your weekend?
I can never bake a good pizzaReplyDelete
How do you mean?Delete
Glad your having a good week end....ReplyDelete
Cozy TV rooms are the best....

Did you and Bill have a nice weekend?Delete
Oh, it sounds great, but it's all in grams.ReplyDelete
I'm sorry. How do you mean, all in the grams?Delete
TV...pizza...the hubby and furry friends...that's the perfect Sunday!ReplyDelete
Good weekend all around, though we skipped the pizza and had homemade rolls instead.Delete
Sounds like you had a nice, relaxing day. I bet the pizza was great, too!ReplyDelete
We skipped the pizza and went with rolls.Delete
Sounds like you had an awesome Sunday!ReplyDelete
Relaxing for sure.Delete
Happy to hear you're feeling better. I've been telling Paul that I want to start making our own pizzas again and this time start with the dough. Hope you've got a great week ahead of you! :)ReplyDelete
Do you both like to bake?Delete
