I'm done. I finished the stockpile wall. Wooooo!
I moved everything to the movie room closet, with the exception of laundry soap, crapper paper, and paper towels. Those have been moved elsewhere, and I'm as happy as a pig in shit.
Somebody hand me a paint brush because I'm chomping at the bit, to get that movie/reading room painted.
Life is good.
I absolutely love painting. The hubs and I recently renovated and extended our deck...600 square feet worth. As he nailed a board, I painted it. Actually I painted all 600 square feet (twice).
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes. 1200 square feet. Did you guys get to grill out or something fun for supper that night?
DeleteNot that night but we had over 30 members of my family for our Easter gathering. Made all the hard work so worth it. :)
DeleteOh my gosh, sounds fun. And exhausting at the same time.
DeleteThat looks far too tidy LOL
ReplyDeleteand thanks for voting on the charity thing for me, it means a lot to get the support
Ian
I'm not sure I voted correctly.
DeleteTim told me he voted. His went through properly. Cheers and boogie boogie.
DeleteGood job!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Linda :o)
Cheers, back. And boogie boogie.
Deletewhich colour will it be?
ReplyDeleteGosh, I'm not sure. Something bright because that room gets a lot of bright sun. Very peaceful room to read, rest, or watch a movie.
Deletewe do like bright colours on walls... and under bright I mean light :) I once painted my room midnight blue and I will never go the dark path again
DeleteDid you get to cover the midnight blue?
DeleteI'm looking for lite 'n bright.
yep, I covered it with white five years after hating the room all dark ..... I prefer white walls and colour in details because I cannot function without light
DeleteI love the light too. So bright. Glad you were able to remove the dark blue.
DeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteWonderful! And what an amazing collection you have. Lots of savings there. Looking forward to seeing what colour you choose for that cool room.
ReplyDeleteAnd is that a picture of Wonder Woman on the left side? Maybe it's you!? :)
The Wonder Woman on the bottom is a tin sign that Tim bought me and the Wonder Woman on the top, in the little box, is from Barnes. We used a coupon for her.
DeleteNot sure about the colour yet. I'm still going back and forth. I wanted to keep with how bright that room is during the day. Great place to read.
the wall of clean
ReplyDeleteSoon to be wall of new paint.
DeleteYou totally rock! What an accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteI am sitting in the room now, and I love it.
DeleteHope your packing goes well today. Thinking of you and Reg.
I wish I had a tenth of your energy!
ReplyDeleteI take lots and lots of rest breaks.
DeleteThe products on the wall would last me six months or more. What a chore to move them all.
ReplyDeleteFor the paper supplies yes. But for everything else it is a two year plus, supply of mostly freebies and money makers.
DeleteYesterday I counted 44 hair washes/conditioners. Hard to see it all in the mess.
I cannot view that from this device, but will check it out later. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAnd today, I rest.
ReplyDeleteHappy painting!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Tuesday is the game plan.
DeleteGood for you......I love to paint too. But I
ReplyDeletehave it all over me by the time I'm done.
Painting make everything look newer and brighter.
Paint away
We took the weekend off. Hope you and Bill are having a nice weekend.
DeleteGlad you got it done. Happy painting!
ReplyDeleteThanks. The plan is Tuesday.
DeleteVery awesome! Once we have our own place again, I want to start doing something like this! What color are you painting the movie/reading room?
ReplyDeleteSomething in the yellow family.
DeleteYou did it!!! I'm so proud of you and happy for you, Ivy. Yellow is a great, warming and cheering color. Yay!!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteProgress going good.
