Oh, how I want a vacation...one, two, maybe three weeks. :) Starting May 12th the college I work for goes on 4 day/10 hour shifts. I do get an extra day added to my weekend but I'm so tired I usually sleep that extra day away.
Hubby used to do the four day weeks. Hopefully, after some time your body can get used to it and then you'll be kickin' back for three day weekends, every weekend.
I tell you the truth. Tim and I have wish for full rained in weekends and don't throw anything at the screen ... but, we've also wished for snow weekends.
It is if you're working it?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point, Lurker.
DeletePoor Fran!!!!!
DeleteI was about to say that
DeleteTrue. If we're working, weeks
Deletecan be too long. I remember
those. Don't miss them.
Not until I retire and my weekends connect!
ReplyDeleteLolololololol. Also a good answer.

DeleteI am speechless..........
Deletelolololol.
DeleteThough don't get me wrong, I love a good sunny day. Like today. Wonderful out.
They are rather short, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThey whoosh by.
DeleteAin't that the truth.
ReplyDeleteToo fast, too fast.
Deletewell, maybe if you were spending it at your in-laws house :)
ReplyDeleteTrue. I'm not big on spending nights away from home at all. So that would make a weekend long for me.
DeleteYou bet. Especially since the weekend was rainy and gloomy, and today is beautiful and sunny...
ReplyDeleteReally pretty here today, too.
DeleteCan we all say Amen together on that one.
ReplyDeleteI remember working every flippin' weekend. Sometimes it wasn't bad but overall, it wasn't great either.
DeleteI can think of a weekend that's far too long.
ReplyDeleteWhen you're stuck with that irritating relative you can't stand for four days straight. Such as my idiot ex-brother-in-law.
That is a good example.
DeleteGreetings human,
ReplyDeleteWeekends get in the way of work! :) Having stated that, we just had a long weekend in Britain. Yay and arf!
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! :)
Hello Internet Superstar. Hope all is well on your end of the world. Cheers and boogie boogie.
DeleteI'll have to agree with William!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteTrue dat! Especially since I was away visiting my son. Hating having to return home. Boo Hiss!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to see your son. Hope you had a fun time. Cheers and boogie boogie.
DeleteWhat Fran said! =) And only because I work every weekend!
ReplyDeleteI remember working every flippin' weekend. I don't miss it, but sometimes it wasn't terrible. Overall though, it wasn't my favorite, either.
