Lucy?
Yeppers.
Yeah, it's Lucy. The great BREAD episode! That series always cracked me up.
Me too. I have them all on DVD. Great stuff.
not my grandma for sure, she was a horrid cook :)
Did she not enjoy it?
both my grandmas were horrid cooks. They never baked nor cooked, so I don't have any pleasant memories eating at grandma's :) They just didn't care.... My mom is also bad in it.
What made you start baking cakes? Because you seem quite excellent at pastry.
Not really good in pastry, I'm more in the cake business :) And appetizers. And cookies. I had to learn if I was to eat cakes :)
Oh, see I think of cakes and cookies as pastry but I get what you mean, sure.
I thought pastries are rolls, buns, scones, pretzels, bread.... no?
I think you are right. But in my head, I put them all together. I think I am wrong though.
No fashion sense, whoever she is!
Oh, I love her apron, and the mess, and the whole thing, really.
Lucille Ball, aka Lucy Ricardo. I love Lucy! ;)
She was the best.
I think Lucy but the kitchen looks like my grandmother's.
I love the old bowls and kitchen toys they used. I just wish I could reach in and have them for my collection.
That image certainly makes me think of Lucy!
It is Lucy. Thanks for playing.
Lucy! I'm home!!!
You gotta, Cookie.
Lucy
The first person that came to mind was Julia Child. But since everyone says Lucy, it's probably Lucy.
I almost went with Child, first out but had this one on the ready.
I think in Julia first but maybe is Lucy!
Lucy it is. Thanks for playing.
I am 100% sure it is Lucy and Ethel beside her. The episode is Season 1, Episode 25, Pioneer Women. It came out in 1952. (I am a Lucy fan!)
Excellent, Birdie. Me as well. She's the best. And this episode, I just love it. Makes me happy.
Is that you Happy???
I might sneak that one in sometime. Not me but I like the idea of using me in an upcoming quiz. Thanks for the idea.
I'm going to say Lucy but I'm not sure?
Lucy it is.
My first reaction too is Lucy (Lucille Ball). Man, we're all gonna feel foolish if we're wrong. :)
You all got it. Lots of prizes to give out for this one. Thanks for playing.
Is it Tom Baker the 70's Dr Who bloke? he he!
Or is it Augustine Baker (1575–1641) the Welsh Benedictine monk and ascetical write?
I know, it the drummer out of Cream....Ginger?
Ray, I think you had too much coffee.
Hahahhaha, Ray. You cracked me up.
Could be, Tim. Could be. Funny though.
I wouldn't have had any idea, so I'll just go with the Lucy Consensus.
You never watched her? Oh my gosh, she is so flippin' funny.
I trust all those that said Lucy (and then Google image searched to double check). They make a giant loaf of bread!!
Is that some big loaf of bread or what?
No, but thanks for reminding me about her videos. I love the old school shows.
Lucy of course. It's that dress. Sorry I missed game. Cheers!!
Do you watch Lucy? I love her.
