No blog for me today, but because it's the fourth day of the month on a year that ends in a four, I had to post something. So I give you, my bakes.
Just reach in and have a nibble.
And that wraps it up for me. We're headed to the cafe and it's so bright and sunny outside. Sure, everything is covered in snow, but that's just life here in NW PA.
Third one is my take on a popover, only I wrote it not to be so big and not to use so many eggs. Inside is pepperoni and two kinds of cheese. But also, I do an onion and cheese one as well.
Very tasty. Sad thing is, the shelf life is under 8 hours. That's it. I think it's about 6 but I can't remember for sure. After that, they turn.
Sometimes it really does, yeppers. Hope you are keeping warm. We hit Erie today, sunny and bright and lots and lots of snow, but none falling. Which was good because I really needed to get out a bit.
They are tons of fun to make. And so many kinds, so so fun. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures in bagel making. It's far and away, one of my favorite bakes.

I didn't know you live in PA. I visited there in 2008; stopped overnight as we headed south. We only stayed a couple of days, but had a great time.
Yes, North Western - lots of snow. Back when I worked at the fabric shopped, we'd get a good handful of Canadian quilters.

That is very nice. Thank you. This was the Barnes & Noble Cafe. They sell GoodFood Magazine. Ten bucks for me to buy it, but it's worth every penny.
