Today I'm annoyed because I don't have anything I want to write about, and I committed to at least 44 posts in a row.
Only I don't want to be cranky over a blog because that's a waste of my energy. So I'm going to work on my pepperoni rolls, and address the hemorrhaging issues.
Meanwhile, dig these treats I baked last night. Not only does it save money using scraps, but they're fun to make.
Details and a how to post, on the way. But for right now, it's off to my lab for another pepperoni roll experiment.
That should knock the crankies right out.
Don't blog cranky!
ReplyDeleteI can't not write just because I'm cranky. In fact, writing it out, helps the crankies pass and brings me to better things, like pepperoni rolls fixes.
DeleteAnnoyed and Cranky, a new comedy act?
ReplyDeleteHahahah, it is when you say it. You made me laugh. That's good stuff.
DeleteYou can always write about the doggie's plot for world domination.
ReplyDeleteDoggie's plot, that's funny.
DeleteI sure hope those are DOG treats. By the way, how do you taste test those? Do you just trust the pups?
ReplyDeleteWith table scrap ones I taste them and snap for crunch. For ones that I make with canned dog food, I rely on the pups. But I will still snap for crunch before removing from oven.
DeleteHave a great day in the lab!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen. Hey, does Gary eat cat treats? I am working on a cat treat bake. Teeny tiny little cracker crisps. Or do cats like soft treats better?
DeleteGary loves the crunchy treats. Let me know what you come up with!
DeleteYou got it. Even if I don't post it right away, I'll be sure to send the images and results to you in email. About how big are Gary's treats?
DeleteGary's current treats are about 1/2" square.
Deletethe hemorrhaging issues? That sounds scary, Ivy
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, I laughed out loud. That's funny. Still waiting on the dough. Should be ready soon.
DeleteThose doggy biscuits look delicious.
ReplyDeleteThey were thick too and still had a good snap to them. Only two left now.
DeleteMy dog wishes you were his mommy.
ReplyDeleteThese are super easy to make.
DeleteIf you don't know what to write, steal an idea from someone else. For example: there's nothing wrong with a good sleestack post!
ReplyDeleteThat is funny. And an excellent idea.
DeleteI have been blogging for 12 years next month. There is nothing I can say that I have not said before. You could always just cut and paste a post!
ReplyDelete12 years. Oh my gosh. Wow. Impressive. I just wasn't in the mind-frame to blog this morning and had other things I wanted to get to, so became a touch annoyed. But after I wrote about it, I wasn't cranky anymore.
DeleteOOps...not 12, 10 years....
ReplyDeleteStill. Super duper impressive.
DeleteWhat flavor are those treats?
ReplyDeleteYou have to be careful . . . around Tim. ;)
Chicken flavored and crunchy. Only two left. I even made two snail shaped ones but those went first. They looked too much like fake dog poo. Which I didn't realize until they were baked.
Deletethe doggies must be happy
ReplyDeleteYeppers. Plus, it's fun.
DeleteWell done doggie treats! Grumpy is OK with me, been there a ton. Looking forward to hearing about the pepperoni rolls and heart shaped dough thingies!
ReplyDeleteThe rolls worked out very well. Now to do it again and see if I can pull it off twice. Heart shaped ones looked so pretty but fell flat on taste.
DeleteWow, those look fantastic. So tell me...you DO sample the product yourself, right ;)
ReplyDeleteI do sample the chicken, veg or cheese ones. But not the ones I made from canned dog food.
