As part of my gifts, Tim got me an allergy-friendly cupcake bake book. Since I already eat that way, I had most of the ingredients except, grapeseed oil. That's a new one for me. Excited to give it a go.
In health news, earlier today we hit the WholeFoods Co-Op and I got a rash. It's been hours now and I still look like a radish.
In other news, we dropped the Batcave and hit the store for more paint samples. We're going with Vintage Bread Box, because Tim knows how much I LOVE vintage bread boxes.
Is he the best hubby or what?
Never heard of Grapeseed Oil either?? The colour of the bread bin is very similar to the colour I've used when I painted Zombie flesh????
ReplyDeleteVintage bread boxes and zombies go together, great. I've had the grapeseed oil in pre-made vegan mayo, but never used the oil before.
DeleteHope that you and yours are well...
ReplyDeleteDid you get to enjoy your late celebration of Halloween?
DeleteSounds like a keeper to me :-)
ReplyDeleteWe tested three bread box samples and I think we've found a winner.
DeleteSo, you've gone from blue to green for the room....?
ReplyDeleteThe blue we had, whilst very pretty, looked too much like a little boy bedroom. We were going for Batcave, not little kid room.
DeleteNow we've moved to vintage bread box.
Vintage bread box is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI just love them.
DeleteI've heard of grapeseed oil but never used it.
ReplyDeleteSo is the new color green? Instead of the Bat cave, it will be the Green Lantern's hideout!
Me too Alex. Though I've eaten in it vegan mayo, never played with it at home.
DeleteGreen Lantern's hideout, you kill me :-)
I've heard of grapeseed oil, but I've haven't tried it. I'm glad you showed a pic of the bread box 'cause I didn't picture a green. While your radishy, you will compliment the green nicely. :) Hope it goes away soon though.
ReplyDeleteSame here Holly. Though I've eaten it in vegan mayo, I haven't bake with it. Then I found something called grapeseed flour. But it was cut with wheat and I cannot have that today. But if I can get my mitts on straight grapeseed flour, that would be cool.
DeleteHeard of grapeseed oil but never used it. I am so sorry you are so allergic to things. Hope your rash has cleared up now. Love the colour.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo.
DeleteThat's a lovely shade!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debra.
DeleteLovely colour, but sorry about the rash!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine.
DeleteHope your rash didn't stick around long.
ReplyDeleteLove the green. Half the walls in my laundry room are painted green (the other half are white).
Thankfully, A LOT of sleep helped. I no longer look like a radish.
DeleteWhat shade of green did you go for in your laundry room?
It bright, a few shades lighter than grass. Don't know what the actual name of the color of paint is, though. I painted it so long ago!
DeleteSounds pretty.
DeleteThat is quite vintage!
ReplyDeleteI flippin' love vintage.
DeleteReady for winter? Tim is.
That is a pretty cool colour. And it answers the question I asked in the email I sent to you this morning :)
ReplyDeleteAnd my writing desk (no Internet), is in the bedroom. It will be a peaceful little spot to work.
DeleteHope your week is going good and that you get sold quickly. Thanks for stopping by.
Now ... I do like that bread box/tin
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
True, they really are tins. But I can't help but say box because it follows the word, bread, so nicely.
DeleteWe did a few sample patches on the wall and I flippin' love it. So peaceful. White will be for the ceiling.
I love the box and the colour! I love everything vintage and my favourite colour is green. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
DeleteThat is a cool bread box. I love the color.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Me too.
