Welcome to another round of Friday Question, where you can win fun stuff. That's right, if you're looking for a few extra dehydrated eyeballs for the bowl on your kitchen table, or maybe a dozen dead rats to sprinkle in the garden - then you've come to the right place.
Friday Question: What Are We? Bonus eyeballs and rats if you can tell me what I'll be doing with these?
Roasted eggplants? Somehow I don't think so. Date seeds? I'm baffled!
ReplyDeletefigs?
ReplyDeleteHmmm this is tricky, the middle one looks sticky and moist and the one in the front looks dry... what could they be? Nuts of some kind?? I'll think about it a bit more...
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I've eaten these before, but it's been a while. I believe they're dates. And my guess is you'll be eating them too.
ReplyDeletedates or figs
ReplyDeleteThose are toasted (mumble mumble).
ReplyDeleteSome kind of seed. You'll be toasting and eating them I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteDates
ReplyDeletede-legged cockroaches? :)
ReplyDeleteThey look like toasted sunflower seeds to me, and they look tasty. Just eating them would be good, but I'd say you were going to make cookies.
ReplyDeletefigs, maybe? mmmmm fig newtons would be AWESOME. and yolandas answer is gross, lol ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with figs... A figgy pudding?
ReplyDeleteThe pit or seed inde of a date !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Now I'm not entirely sure but my guess is that those are date seeds. I have dates in the house that I've been munching on this week and the seeds look very much like the ones in your photo. So...I'm thinking that's what you're sharing. Although I'm not sure what you're going to do with them!
ReplyDeleteI'm going for dates ...
ReplyDeleteNow, will I be right? Time will tell!
Have a great Friday night and an extra special boogie at the weekend!
All the best Jan

ReplyDeleteI have no idea!
ReplyDeleteI thought aubergines.
ReplyDeletestumped again, dried dates?
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of Pine nuts.
ReplyDeleteMy first reaction was eggplants but dates isn't a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteI like Yolande's answer of de-legged cockroaches.
ReplyDeleteDates, I use them when making fruit cakes.
