Just for Fun

Whelp.  I'm done with all the chores I'm going to do today. My leg is giving me the warning signal, so I poured myself a cuppa vanilla biscotti coffee, and I'm on the couch with the pups.

But TOMORROW ....

I'm going to put my waffle stick recipe in the pizzelle iron and my pizzelle recipe, in the waffle stick maker.

Just for fun.

    1. It's all part of the fun. Seeing if this or that works, and if it doesn't, no biggie.

I am so using that for a blog post title. You are great at names. Like the Lemon Tart Room.

    1. Hi Christine. Our store sells it in bags, but away from the tin section. Which I thought was odd. Anyway, the Folgers Vanilla Biscotti is sold in the same area as the bagged Starbucks and other bagged coffees.

I dunno why that is. Sorry you were only able to find a single serving.

PS: I tried the coconut one, too. At first I didn't like it but then the second cup I loved. Weird.

PPS: Hope you find the regular sized, bags.

  9. Switcharoo-fun! And I'm glad you slow down when need be. We shouldn't push ourselves beyond our capacity. I'm heading to the mall soon to put the new lenses on my glasses from the store that bleeds you dry for two tiny pieces of glass. So you can see. Bastards. ;)

  13. Not having heard of pizelles I got a recipe for them in my email today. I had a cookie from one of the ladies in my exercise class so I'm thinking I should buy some, I don't bake cookies.

    1. HiYa Jo - I had written you back in the other post about them. Italian Christmas cookie. Very very popular where I live. Sold year-round in the markets.

I was thankful to get a hand-me-down wonderful pizzelle iron from Tim's gram. Very nice of her. Very nice pizzelle iron.

There's a newspaper here that each year puts out twenty four days of Christmas cookie recipes.
