I'm hanging out in the Christmas Room and just finished another 1.2 star Christmas movie. Got a pup snoozin' on either side and I'm still feeling all whack-a-do.
Add to it that Frankenberry (Hubby), got hit today with a killer migraine. So, not so fun all the way around, here at The Manor.
On the upside, each time I finish a crappy 1.2 Christmas movie on Netflix, they recommend three more just like it.
Man, there's a million of those movies . . . don't OD!
ReplyDeleteI can't help it. I'm on some sort of whack-a-do holiday movie cycle. Send help. Can't stop. Must ... hit ... play ....
DeleteNow you can both feel blah on the couch watching low-rated Christmas movies.
ReplyDeleteMe, not so much him though. But if they're B horror flicks, those we both dig. But then, what's not to love about a B horror flick?
Deletekind of nice watching Christmas movies, especially it's snowing here right now in the Toronto area. Sorry hubby is not feeling well though.
ReplyDeleteSnow here too. How is your family on the west coast. I thought of them today when I heard the weather reports. Hope everyone is safe.
DeleteThere's no shortage of crappy movies out there. Apparently there's a Kirk Cameron movie just out that's being widely considered the worst movie of all time.
ReplyDeleteOkay. Now I must watch that one. You know that right? I absolutely have to see the worst movie of all time.
DeleteSo sorry to hear about the migraine :( I've been there and it's just awful. I hope you feel better soon. Glad you're enjoying so-bad-they're-good Christmas movies! Thank you for the lovely comments you left over at my blog. I'm in the middle of a huge project so I won't be able to respond to each one, but I read them all and I so appreciate it. Such kind words from a kind soul! Will be peeking around the Whisk a little now...
ReplyDeleteOkay, only took me a couple seconds to realize that "Frankenberry" was not in reference to yourself. Yikes. I had coffee today, I swear!
DeleteAnd I wish Frankenberry wellness, too.
DeleteThanks, Raquel. Yes, hubby (Frankenberry), is feeling much better today. It's a good day.
DeleteHappy drawing/painting and all your fun creative stuff you've got going on. Glad I found your blog and boogie boogie.
Lol. You gotta love the holidays.
ReplyDeleteLove the holidays. Mine is just a food allergy thing. But how goes your little goblins? Everyone better and germ-free?
DeleteAw, man. Hope you guys feel better soon!! Crappy holiday movies stink, but fuzz therapy to the left and to the right is awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou don't like bad movies? Oh my gosh, so fun but I get that they're not a big hit. They are crappy, after all but I can't help loving them.
DeleteHappy Weekend :-)
Hi Ivy...
ReplyDeleteHope you are both feeling better♥️
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Much, much. Thanks and welcome back. Good to see you blogging again. Your house, is divine.
DeleteOff and on Ihave been watching holiday movies on Hallmark channel.
ReplyDeleteBut I have been watching Midsummer Murders on Netflix when I worked on designing the Christmas card (2 day) then started the folding and addressing.
Works for me !
cheers, parsnip
I have a friend who loves that channel. We don't get TV, so I've never seen their movies. But I'd watch one if I had the chance.
DeleteHappy Christmas card making fun.
Hope you feel better of your migraine dear Ivy:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hubby's (Frankenberry), headache is all gone today. Woohoo.
DeleteNetflix Christmas movies leave a lot to be desired.
ReplyDeleteNot into the silly stuff, eh?
DeleteIt seems it is a good thing that I don't have/use Netflix. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda - we don't have TV so it's all Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and DVD. Do you like any of those other ones? We love the no adverts. Heaven.
DeleteHappy Weekend :-)
Every once in a while Netflix will surprise you with a great movie. For the most part, I like watching their original shows better like Orange Is The New Black or House of Cards. Hope Frankenberry's migraine gets better, and you find some quality movies to watch.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Hi Julie - I love the crappy movies for holiday time. I don't know why but they are fun. Same with B horror movies and a big bowl of popping corn. Heaven.
DeleteFrankenberry (Hubby), has watched both of those shows I think.
Happy Weekend :-)
there's nothing like bad Christmas movies
ReplyDeleteI know, I really enjoy them.
DeleteI keep asking myself, 'Is it worth keeping my Netflix subscription going?' There doesn't really seem to be much in the way of fresh content?
ReplyDeleteBut then, I look at it the same way as I do junk food: there are times when you are feeling down or plain old 'meh' and Netflix fits the bill. How fickle am I?
PS: and sorry about the migraine - did you know they have discovered that injecting botox into the scalp muscles can alleviate the pain of migraine?
DeleteI still find a lot good on Netflix but I love Amazon Prime too. They've got great cookery shows.
DeleteTim has migraines, but I didn't know about the botox, no. That's interesting.
How are you feeling today?
How did I miss this post yesterday? Well, I'm finally here. I love the part of a pup snoozing on either side of you. That is the best. Animals are fun to cozy up with.
