Gamer Widow

Tim and his gaming buddies rented a conference room today, and that makes me a Gamer Widow for the night.  Which I don't mind since this is DAY ONE of NINE DAYS off.

That's right, it's staycation time.

Click Trailer Park Spa, to read all about it.  Meanwhile, I'm thinking about braving the market.  Ken from the blogger world is staying the night and I'm fresh out of coffee.

You Boogerbutts have a fun one.  Cheers.

Over a week off - that sounds just awesome.

  2. Gamer Widow #2 here- thanks for giving Ken a place to crash for the night! 9 days sounds wonderful; alas I only have the long weekend but I'll take a day off when I can get it!

    1. Deb: Those two goobers talked about gaming all night. But I snuck in some couponing stuff and am sending him home with some frebies for you both.

    2. Awesome; thanks! Not surprised about the all-night gaming conversation.

    3. Deb: Aren't they funny?

I got these razor, Silky. They were freebies and now my favorites. They come in different colors. Only good for a little while, but I really dig them.

So I sent you some of those.

And Tim gave Ken a few gaming things as well. Was fun. Would like to meet you sometime as well.

    4. Funny, indeed. Thanks for the razors; very thoughtful! I'd like to meet you sometime as well. I need to find a comparable activity to Ken's gaming; somehow I ended up with a weekend of yard work. What's wrong with that picture? :)

    5. He has such a great time with the guys, though- it's a perfect stress-reliever for him.

    6. Same with Tim on the stress. Helps so much just for them to laugh and be silly.

Just joined your Blogger blog, and put you on my roll. But I can't find your Word Press blog. Do you still have that one going?

    7. I do; it's World So Sweet. Didn't do much with it for a long time, but started again recently.

    1. Susan: It was. And they rarely ever all are able to get together in person like that. Everyone living in different areas. Was nice they got to.

    1. Fran: I did. I did some farting about the house and then went to the market for breakfast foods.

  5. Nine day break? Awesome! Have a great time at the "Trailer Park Spa" ;)

Hope Tim and the gang are having fun as well (12 hours? Don't think any of our gang have the endurance for that sort of session any more!)

    1. Tim: I think they wrapped it up at nine hours. Tim took pictures so we'll post those soon.

We never met Ken in person so it was nice to have him travel down this way.

Yes, nine days off and it feels like heaven. I love my job, but man alive, is it ever nice just to be home with Hubby.
