Asparagus Monster

I snapped a shot of this scary asparagus monster, right before I gobbled up his fingers.

Num num num.

Then I chopped and froze the rest of his body in little baggies. You'd be surprised just how big asparagus monsters can get.

And now ... I'm done with our Wiggy walk and a kick-ass morning jog. It was a great way to start day one of twelve days off from the shop.

Meanwhile, Poopyhead's staycation starts Friday.  That gives me plenty of time to get the marketing and house done. Plus, make him brownies using one of my nifty cavity cake pans.

You Boogerbutts have a groovy day.

That's Wiggy in the top right corner.
Here I am.

  1. I slew and devoured an asparagus monster last just week. Can't say it's my favorite monster to eat but my wife keeps sending them after me!

  3. Bliss: Hahahaha. You are good husband to go after such a monster. Your wife is a lucky girl.

Lurker: She was smelling to see if the asparagus monster was worth eating.

Cake: I jogged to Theory of a Deadman and Nickelback. Love those two bands.

  4. Pat: Really was. And now I better get my butt offline. Otherwise, I won't get to my chores. I'd like to be done early today. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. I've just downed a swarm of veg. They'd been hacked to pieces and put in a salad, but still packed a punch. Need to get stalking some asparagus.

  8. Becky: Miss Wiggy is a girl pup. We got her at the pound. Will you get a new dog after your vacation?

Porky: Do you make homemade dressing? Use store bought? Or eat your salad naked?

BigMike: I don't think Tim would like them either. Especially when they are bitter. But a tender spring asparagus monster ... oh ... that's just good eats.

  11. Wiggy appears to me to be saying "Yeah, I farted, so what?"

I do not believe I have ever encountered an asparagus monster, not sure I would eat it if I did.

  15. Alex: Garden fresh or buying local in season, organic might make a difference.

  16. You need to see what I , and my trusty slicer-dicer, did to the fuzzy-haired fennel that tried lurking at the back of my fridge. I slivered it to death ;)
