Check it out. I'm gonna make homemade dog treats with these nifty new cavity cake pans I bought today, using a recipe a co-worker gave me.
I'm also going to try making my own healthy McGriddles.
How fun is that?
And dig little Wiggy. She's munching on an ice cube after doing a very good job of peeing outside.
Life is good.
Yay to housetraining!! brrrr chewing on an icecube? I can feel my teeth aching. She looks beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteNiki: She does a little pee dance wiggle thing right before she has to go. It's going better but still not able to roam the house alone when we're not home.
ReplyDeleteToilet training is not fun and it stops the dog getting shouted at because it makes you both feel bad, happy baking Whisk.
ReplyDelete....but it stops!!!!
ReplyDeleteLurker: Not so fun, no. She lived in the kennel her whole little life. But she's doing much better. Woohoo.
ReplyDeletePS: I didn't like the original title of my blog and was trying to think of a new one when your comment came through.
Happy Baking sums up my weekend plans. Thanks much for the new title.
Do you have a dog?
Lurker: Yesterday was the first day that she turned around after she peed as if to say, "Ta-da" it was great.
ReplyDeleteHas Wiggy picked out a neighbourhood cat she's subservient to?
ReplyDeletemy current dog took a while to train. He's not what I would call a fast learner.
ReplyDeleteWiggy looks happy :)
I also get ice cube rewards when I remember to not pee on the floor. Wait....what?
ReplyDeleteMaking your own dog treats? I would have never considered the idea. Your dog is going to be spoiled.
ReplyDeleteWilliam: She eats kittens for breakfast.
ReplyDeletemshatch: What kind of dog? Boy? Girl?
Christian: Tim gets a Reese cup.
Astronomy Pirate: I'm so excited to give it a go. And oh yeah, she is spoiled. Little girl spent the first part of her life in a pound. Time for some good livin' now.
And she gives the best puppy hugs.
My son's dog loves ice cubes. He goes batso when you drop one on the floor. To him they are better than treats.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the treats. Let me know how they come out.
I think my Grandpuppies are coming tomorrow for Mother's Day. I have treats in the puppie treat jar. We are celetrating tomorrow so the kids can go to the mother-in-laws on Sunday.
Pat: Wiggy too. She thinks they are treats so hey, that's okay with me. I'll let you know how the treats go. These new cake pans are for me and her. Woohoo.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day early :-)
I'm not supposed to pee on the floor?
ReplyDeleteBet she likes them!
ReplyDeletePorky: You can but you won't get an ice cube or Reese cup, that way.
ReplyDeleteAlex: I'm missing some of the ingredients and don't want to tackle the market mid-Saturday.
Spoil her a lot, I say. She's earned it. Will you be posting the recipe?
ReplyDeleteChuck: I sure will. I'm out of some of the ingredients but once I get everything and give it a go, I'll post the images, formula and steps.
