Well done, girlie! I know what it's like to deal with back ache or neck pain so I'm happy for you that the situation is becoming better and you're able to train now.Jai
Awesome! Sounds like a great start to Spring! Daisey and the kids and I had a nice day strolling through the Italian hills and medieval towns. Spring is here!
Great news, good for you, keep it up my friend.
Hi Jai: Sorry to hear you've had spinal and neck issues? What did you have? Sounds like a nice afternoon, Johnathan. Did you guys take pictures or eat anywhere yummy? Thanks, Lurker: Feels good after so long with a bum neck. I love to jog so it was an extra great way to start the season. How are you doing?
PS: I don't drink, at all. But there's something about Burn It to the Ground that kicks ass and keeps me jogging. Especially that whole part about this train won't stop. Love it.
Starting out slow will keep you from injuring yourself again so take you time. Add minutes slowly.
Yeppers, Pat: That's how I like to jog. Slow and build as I go. Works for me.
Sorry to find out you had been in pain.
Hi Bartender: Thanks. The neck thing was constant and after awhile, it's just part of the normal day. But, wow, now I really notice how nice it is to be free. Still can't lift anything heavy, but that's okay. I married a meat shield, so he lifts the heavy stuff and I just look cute. What did you and Claudia do this weekend? Any good meals?
That's great! Fifteen minutes tomorrow.
Yay! You've inspired me to get on the treadmill right now.
Alex: Today was my slow walk day but tomorrow, if neck still feels good, I'll be jogging to Nickelback. Rah. Good luck on your upcoming A to Z blogfest.MG Higgins: How wonderful. Do you enjoy jogging?Miss Holly: Much thanks.
How did you hurt your neck? That's great you are getting better. I'm starting to jog a bit more on the mats between the circuit machines at the gym. I find jogging hard. Probably because Im unfit. :o)
I hope you stay pain free and are able to keep running.
Niki: By working on a line and doing repetitive motion. Was not fun. Under husband and doctor orders I had to leave that job. But I still have the shop. Congrats on jogging more. Do you enjoy it? I know it was hard when I started but there's something so mediation-like about jogging. Thanks, Patti: I'm into slow jogging. I don't care about my time. I just enjoy doing the workout. Slow poke-like and all. It's good stuff.
My husband's a distance runner, and he always says when something hurts, he feels better when he runs. Glad to hear you're getting back to it!
Congrats on getting back into it. Running is always very welcoming because you can always start slaw and build up to your former level. And with spring coming, it's great to get outside and listen to the tunes.
Thanks. It's really a great exercise. Very internal which I dig. It's just a great mediation. Love it.
Yea for you! I love Nickelback :)
