To celebrate, I'm going to show you my feet because after six months of healing, I'm finally back to jogging. And plus, I think it's been awhile since you've seen my feet.
Susan: They are. I can wear them well for jogging if I get one size bigger than my normal size. But for work sneaks, I go with Easy Spirit Anti-Gravity. Do you jog?
Phew - got there! Well done! Good to hear you've healed from whatever it was. If I lived with you, I'd have to jog plenty. Potato cakes - mmm-mmm. Irish, eh? I say potato and you say potato, but how do they say it?
Thanks Pat: Top of the morning to you. Can't go wrong with sour cream. Nom nom nom. I like sour cream on my Jewish potato pancakes with a side of cool iceberg lettuce. So much nomminess. So little time.
Hi Porky: Spinal problems, pinched nerves, not so fun. But I'm back, baby. That's right. Crank up the Nickelback.
Thanks, jgbrowning: I never knew blogging was so fun. But it's a hoot.
201. I thought I was following already. Congratulations. You are winning the race in your house. Yummy food over the nerds nerd (OSR) - umm, yes I am not surprised.
We call potatoes spuds, congratulations and well deserved my friend, potato cakes look like the ones my Irish mother would make me, good to see your feet again and glad they are healed.
Barking Alien: Thanks. Feet and potatoes. What a combo.
Flea: Ovens? That's so fun. Thanks for telling me. I'll send extra so there's enough for both of you.
Lurker: Thanks for the nice words. Tim is Irish and I never got a chance to learn from his Irish Gram. But I do have a great Irish cookery book that I love.
Thanks, Ray: Those are my Halloween shower socks. Had'em forever. I put those babies on as soon as I am done showering so that my footsies stay dry and warm.
Thanks, Alex: I enjoyed your timed review. Normally I can't read a review if I'm going to see the movie but since I wasn't going to see that one, I got to enjoy your real time review.
Hi Cake Crusader: Thanks. Yes, I agree, it is real work again. How long had you been away? My first day back I was only able to do one Nickelback song but I tell you what ... I'm okay with that. Totally okay with that. I don't mind going slow. Just happy to be back and not be in pain.
Honestly, Bliss: I didn't think I'd like blogging. Glad I was wrong.
Well Guys: Brownies are out of the oven and it's time for me to get into my jams and start slowing down for the night.
Thanks to everybody who reads my blog. I like getting to know you guys. It's a real treat.
I love potato cakes. That combined with not eating anything today has made me very hungry right now. I hate to be one of those people who comments with "omg that's making me so hungry!" But in this case it's true.
Also, I love my New Balance shoes for jogging. They're so comfortable and never hurt my feet. I'm still technically recovering from my second back surgery, so I can't wait to be back to exercising the way I used to. So I'm very happy for you :)
Nigma: Nice to meet you. Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy your stay.
Katie: It feels great. I enjoy your photos. Great blog.
Mauro: Piacere di rivederti. Ci sono alcune ricette, ma non molti.
Angry Vegetarian: Why have you not eaten? You must come by, we have plenty of food at our table. Thank you for the nice words.
I am glad to hear you are recovering. How long have you been recovering? I wish you a full recovery and that you get back to jogging soon. I look forward to hearing about your first day back.
I'm so jelly!
ReplyDelete-C: Okay, but jelly doesn't really go well on the Irish potato cakes. How about being icing sugar or honey? Those goes nicely.
ReplyDeleteNice potato cakes :-))
ReplyDeleteAre those New Balance shoes. I love their fit on my feet.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angie: I made them this afternoon with Tim stopped home for lunch. I wanted to get a better shot, but he wanted to eat. He won. This time ...
ReplyDeleteSusan: They are. I can wear them well for jogging if I get one size bigger than my normal size. But for work sneaks, I go with Easy Spirit Anti-Gravity. Do you jog?
ReplyDeleteI like sour cream and chives with my Irish Potato Cakes.
ReplyDeleteNice sneakers!
Top of the Morning to you tomorrow.

Congratulations (and glad to hear you're feeling better)! Those potato cakes look yummy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Flea. Teleporting you and Rachel a warm plateful. Enjoy. Enjoy. And thanks for reading :-)

ReplyDelete201? Thanks, Jovial: I've done that before too. Thought I was following someone and I wasn't.

Well done on the 200!! Nice trainers too, but I prefer them funny things you wear in the shower!!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations and nice feet!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I have been sporadically blogging for two years and I am just shy of 200.
ReplyDeleteJust started running again myself (with one of them baby running strollers in two). Real work after you've stopped for a spell.
200 already? I'm speechless!
ReplyDeleteCongrats and many more posts to come, I'm sure!
