Snack Time

I'm grooving on these store-bought honey roasted peanuts with cashews.  For not being homemade, they are pretty darn good.  And messy.  Two of my favorite things.
What's in your snack bowl?

  1. Honey-roasted peanuts are one of my FAVORITE snacks. I still remember the sad day my traveler father came home from his latest business trip without airline peanuts for us (because they'd been banned). Pretzels just can't compare. *sigh*

  2. Thanks for sharing your story. It's nice to read stuff like that. And I agree, when I want honey roasted peanuts and cashews, pretzels just won't cut it.

  3. Right now, salted shelled pistachios. They're so salty though, I'm going to wake up really pillow-faced tomorrow.

  4. Ohhh, pistachios. Yum. Though I know what you mean about the salt and waking up pillow-faced. Not so fun.

  5. Ivy, thanks for stopping by my blog! How many people tell you that stopping by your blog makes them hungry? Those pizzelles look so good! I've never had them before, but wow.

  6. I like honey roasted almonds. However, my snack bowl is currently empty. It's not a happy situation.

  8. Honey roasted cashews are too addictive. Small packets of quality crisps (chips) are where snacking ends and nummming starts.
    Nando's er-peri chicken - tasty. ;)

  9. Is your snow still deep and dangerous? That is my idea of **proper** seasonal. Your pizzelle shop picture has made me hungry for Christmas ;)

  10. I love honey roasted peanuts. I really don't have a snack bowl since I alway have tons of friends over, easier to just bring up the entire bag.

  11. Hi Julie: Homemade ones are the best. Store bought, not so much. Thanks for dropping by.

Holly: An empty snack bowl? Oh no.

    mshatch: Those sound good.

Donea: I haven't tried that brand for peas, but I do fancy their habanera almonds. Though I don't find them hot enough, they are tasty.

Elaine: Yes, snow still deep but the sun is out. Round two next week.

LoneIslander: Nice to see you. Yes, entire bag does sound easier.

Happy Munching, to you all. Thanks for the drop-ins.
