The wet trays bit was the masterstroke, as unexpected as an X-wing assault. I've got plenty of time for Eddie Izzard, but I can't help feeling the best in British stand-up is behind us. Bill Bailey's got a good sense of the bizarre too, and the range of talents to push the boundaries in a new way.
Oh, that's perfect. Today and tonight I'm on the kitchen staff for a party for 100. I'll do my best to keep the plates dry so that I do not get my head sawed off with the thin edge.
I've been overdosing on Star Wars Lego films. My boys insist on watching one or two before bed every night. Alas, I don't think I'll be showing them this one... not yet, anyway. :)
Overdosing on Star Wars Lego film. Oh my goodness. That's fantastic. Glad you liked Jeff Vader. I've seen it so many times and it still makes me laugh.
This is one of my son's favorite YouTube clips of all time. I feel like a bad father letting him watch - but then again, I feel like a good father when I hear him laugh at it. Izzard is brilliant.
How can it be bad, it's just so freaking funny. Glad you guys enjoy it. I agree, Izzard is brilliant. One of my favorite writers. Thanks for stopping by and joining.

Tim is cracking up. I read him what you wrote. That's good stuff, Christian. Hope you have fun and I hope you blog about it. Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteOn our side, we've bolted the doors, locked the windows, and we're not coming out until Monday.
Happy 2011.
I loved the Eddie Izzard clip and the Lego video. So much characterisation from plastic. Very funny. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year *\O/*

Thanks for the wishes, Elaine. DR-7 won't be the last draft. But thank you for the drop-in. Happy Holiday Weekend to all.
That was clever! Eddie Izzard is a riot.
