Just when I thought it was safe to put down the hammer, we decided to demo the closet in the movie room. We don't need the storage (which I love), but we will use the open flex space (which I also love). Then we'll repaint/touch up the Lemon Tart Room, keeping the bright yellow.
But not today. Today, we're off to Apple Castle for transparents, early gold apples and other heirloom yumminess.
That's all from me. Have a yummy day!
Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteA great weekend to you and Gothridge Manor, dear Lady Whisk...
ReplyDelete... Hello from Marshville...
You too, Dr. Theda.
DeleteAs you have apparently given away everything you own, I guess you don't need storage. Enjoy your apples.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. You cracked me up.
DeleteSounds like a great time. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteDo you have apple places near you?
DeleteYou're going to have so much space you won't know what to do with it all, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI can cartwheel from one end of the trailer to the other and not bump into anything.
DeleteEnjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
All the best Jan
Thanks, you too!
DeleteEnjoy your apple harvesting!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Hope your walk was lovely.
DeleteTransparents? A fruit?
ReplyDeleteHere it is what my partner is when he thinks he is subtly working up to something.
Have fun.
A delicious apple that comes early in the season. A real treat for me. Bitter and tart and makes wonderful applesauce. Though I also eat them out of hand.
DeleteMost people don't need most of the stuff they keep in storage.
ReplyDeleteHappy Lucy's 105th Birthday today. We thought about going to Jamestown but opted for the apples as the transparents won't be around much longer.
DeleteEven before the 90 percent gone, I've never been a big storage keeper. As in, stuff I stashed away for another day.
I would love to go to Jamestown!
DeleteAlways skip work when fresh apples are the better choice. I do love apples!
ReplyDeleteDemo doesn't even feel like work. So fun. Hope you're having a great weekend.
DeleteEnjoy your heirloom yumminess.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteHave fun eating fresh apples.
ReplyDeleteNot sure ours are ready.
cheers, parsnip and thehamish
You guys don't have any early ones there? We got transparents, heirloom early golds and then a new one, that I forget the name of. But the transparents are ready early and only for a short time. Best apple, ever!
DeleteI'd love to go apple-picking with you! As you might recall, my family and I work at a local orchard every fall to help pick apples. We could help you pick a bin in no time! :D Enjoy your time! :)
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun!
DeleteHope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe did, thanks. And you?
DeleteI love the idea of naming room decor after other things. We do have a daffodil room which colour scheme was exactly matched to a two tone daffodil, so two shades of yellow. You'd think they wouldn't go together, but in real life they seem like the perfect colour combination!
ReplyDeleteLove that you found such a great combo. Sometimes, I hear folks shy away from yellows but I have no idea why shy away from such a pretty colour.
DeleteYou sound like me. One always leads to another.
ReplyDeleteWe have an end-goal in mind but I am loving the journey.
DeleteI'm late to the party here. How was the Apple Castle?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, really great because they had my transparent apples and early golds but then I tried a new apple and it gave me a rash. But the other two apples, I was sooo happy they had.
DeleteThank you for asking.
