This wall was tricky for me because the mirror was glued on with magic glue. That stuff did not want to release. Then at one point, I pulled back with the butt of the screwdriver and bam, right into my schnoz. I was this close to smashing my front teeth. THIS close, I say. But in the end, I got the flippin' mirror down.
Suck on that, mirror. Suck on that.
That was close!ReplyDelete
Like they superglued it on.
Sounds like a draw, 1all.ReplyDelete
Glad you didnt come to any harm, Ivy, mirrors can be bad people. It looks like a pretty firece mirror.
Been there for 20 years, I'm thinking. Not quite sure.Delete
Whew! No need to sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" then!ReplyDelete
oppps ! ! !ReplyDelete
That could work as a post title.Delete
Happy Square Dog Friday.
The mirror was never going to win. We knew that, even if it didn't.ReplyDelete
The mirror is no reflection on your good self.ReplyDelete
You always have the best comments.Delete
Glad you got it down anyway. Me, I like mirrors, they increase the apparent space in a room.ReplyDelete
I think a lot of designers think that as well. To me, it's rubbish.Delete
gosh messy job! I didn't know they glued some mirrors, not a good ideaReplyDelete
Really GOOD glue.Delete
broken teeth or 7 years bad luck. I'm conflicted over which would've been worse. ;)ReplyDelete
And to think, I nearly got both.Delete
Wow, what a job! Good stuff. And thankfully, no injuries. What's up with you? It's been so hot here. And we've been super lazy. We need to do work around the house (mostly outdoors) and with this weather we've done none of it. Will get out an email to you soon. Right now I'm going to lie down and read my book.ReplyDelete
Enjoy your book. I took a nap earlier and it's been forever since I needed one. Things are good. Demo is done (for now), and up next, fix walls and paint. But for the weekend, it's Apple Castle and apples!!!!Delete
Love this time of year.
PS: How cute was that bat on your page? Oh my gosh. Loved it.
Mirror glue can be toughReplyDelete
A smackdown with a mirror....ReplyDelete
I am happy that you didn't get hurt. Dumb mirror.ReplyDelete
Whew ... could have been very nasty!ReplyDelete
All the best Jan
