Sorry you are puffy and hungover and I'm sure the tofu farts did nothing to improve things...I hope your system calms down and you feel better quickly. How was the blueberry pie?
The doors look fab!! I had the farts too...unfortunately it was at the gym Sunday morning....fortunately, I had my ear buds in and took the 'I don't care if you hear it' attitude...not sure if I'm allowed back yet....
Hey, we're at Barnes now and I was looking through a magazine all about pies. Oh my gosh, some pretty pictures. Saw little stars placed on top of one and it made me think of your cutter one. So fun.
Your mention of the farts had me laughing, Ivy. I have heard (for baked beans, anyway), that adding just a tiny bit of white vinegar does not change the flavour and cuts the farts.
Flatulence is a sign of good health :-)
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteThanks for sharing that Ivy. Sorry about the reaction to the doors though.
ReplyDeleteIt's not been fun. Next time we might try staining with tea or coffee grounds.
DeleteI hate when I get the case of the farts. It's good that you system was good with the tofu.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me today. Hope you had a great weekend away.
DeleteWell, I would say the farts are more Tim's problem than yours, lol -- he's the collateral damage.
ReplyDeletelololololololol.
DeleteThe doors are so pretty! Toot your own horn. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Deleteoh no, too bad about the stain effect. Good about the tofu, never known that to induce farts, guess it is soybean maybe it does.
ReplyDeleteMight try and stain with tea or coffee grounds, next go. This stain is holding on toooo long in the house.
DeleteDid you make anything yummy for supper tonight?
Paint and stain give me a migraine and make me close to vomiting.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with farting! Probably best to be discrete in public.
Yikes, Birdie. That sounds horrible.
DeleteDoors look nice.
ReplyDeleteYeah, more than I needed to know. But tofu is made of beans.
Thanks and ... You're welcome!

ReplyDeleteI just made two small hand-pies. Insides were yummy but the outside still underbaked. I'll go again and increase the temp.
DeleteThanks for asking.
Quite a lot of chemical smells do that to me too. Instant headache and nausea too.
ReplyDeleteYay for tofu (farts or not).
My partner (not a fan) refers to tofu as bean-turd.
DeleteHahaha, Tim says that too because in real life, I call it bean curd. We have funny guys.
DeleteSorry you get the instant headache and nausea. Birdie mentioned that too. Yikes.

DeleteHahahaha, on you and the gym. You crack me up, not sure if you're allowed back. Too funny.
How goes the outside jogging?
I didn't want to know that!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteGood job on the doors and keep on tooting!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam.

Tofu with no rash or throat closing - a definite win situation!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I loved that pink tea pot you had on your blogpost. So pretty.
DeleteThank you - I do like pink!
DeleteAll the best Jan
Now that was funny! LOL...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Martha.
DeleteHope your heatwave was gone today. It was real nice here.

ReplyDeleteInteresting about the vinegar. I shall give it a go next time I make bean curd. Maybe it will help with that, too. Thanks!
