Today, I skipped working on house stuff and made onion crackers and plain bagels. Cracker photos to come. Tomorrow, I'm on the hunt for bath towels and veggies then Friday, it's back to house stuff.
First on the list is the leak under the kitchen sink. It's time to get that mother clunker, fixed. After that, it's pick a project, any project. We have many to choose from.
But for today, I had a nice break. And now, I'm gonna kick back, read a few blogs and sip some hot tea.
Thanks for reading and boogie boogie.
Bagels look tasty!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the leak.
Thanks, Alex.
DeleteBe careful about delaying on that leak. Otherwise, the pipe might burst and oh hell no.....
ReplyDeleteIt's first on the list.
DeleteThe bagels look excellent. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteAre you seeing the last of winter?
These look delicious! Was it hard making bagels?
ReplyDeleteNo, but I've been making my own for many years. When I get video going, this will be one of them. They are a million time better than shoppe-bought ones.
DeleteThose bagels look good! Do you boil and bake, or bake only?
ReplyDeleteBoil AND bake, baby.
DeleteMmmmm, those are the BEST! Glad you're a traditionalist! "Bake only" bagels are just buns with holes.
DeleteOHMYGOSH...boil and bake! The absolute best. Reminds me of bagels in my hometown.
Deleteyour bagels look delicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThanks for visiting. I'm not a foodie at all but your bagels look tasty!
ReplyDeleteYou have a great eye for photography. I've got you in my feed and I'll be back this weekend to see what else you posted.
DeletePS: Again, neat thing you made Debra (and the rest).
Cheers and boogie boogie.
Those look sooo good! I hate leaks! Good luck with yours...
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteWhat did you make to eat?
Love the expression "mother clunker". There are a lot of those around here. Can't believe you make your own bagels. Goodness they look yummy. Can't wait to see cracker.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Granny Annie - It made me giggle when I wrote mother clunker.
DeleteThose look darn good, lady! We recently had to get a leaky sink fixed too. Easy fix thankfully.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it was an easy fix. Those are nice to get. Tim thinks ours will be too. Fingers and nutsacks, crossed.
DeletePity you don't live closer. I have bath towels in abundance and was only thinking the other day I should donate some of them (a la Ivy of course). That picture looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteI recently heard that the pound and/or animal hospitals take old towels. Haven't tried my area yet because we are using the old towels for demo and repairs.
DeleteThank you for the kind words. If we lived closer I would make you crackers, any flavour.
Oh, those bagels look good!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYes, that leak must be seen to.
ReplyDeleteFor sure.
Deletelooks good
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteYour bagels look good. It sounds like there is no lack of interesting food around your place. Now I'm wondering what onion crackers taste like! I imagine they might be pretty good with soup.
ReplyDeleteThey tasted a little like sour cream and onion potato chips, but I never added any sour cream or potatoes.
DeleteYes, soup, that does sound good.
I have had onion rolls but never onion crackers...but I bet yours are delish, Ivy! :)
ReplyDeleteOnion rolls, I used to love those. They were the inspiration for my crackers.
DeleteThese look soooo good!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteLoved that water drop shot you took. Sooo coool.
Your bagels look yummy!!
ReplyDeleteThose bagels certainly do look good!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you got the leak sorted, and happy hunting for bath towels!
All the best Jan
