Friday Question: Silly Socks

When was the last time you ran down the hall and slid in your socks? For me, it was yesterday and then the day before that, and if I'm really, really honest, the day before that as well.

If we rip up the carpet and fix the damaged floors, put down dog-friendly laminate, then I'll be able to slide from one end of the trailer to the other without running into anything.

Friday Question: When was the last time you ran down the hall and slid in your socks? Or something just as silly and fun?

  1. I do this on a daily basis. We have laminate floors throughout the house so I can do Risky Business style sliding whenever I choose. Good times! Good times! :) Well, to me. The kids think I'm a little too old for that kind of thing. haha

    1. You're never too hold. You tell those kids for me that they can suck it.

  2. I used to do it all the time. Now, I'm more careful. One fall and I'll probably have to have a hip replaced!

  3. Ha! It has been a little while, though I think I do it sometimes somewhat subconsciously when I'm happy, running/sliding across our kitchen, dining room, and mudroom. Our halls are carpeted.

  5. I think at mid 60's, I'd be afraid I'd break my nose again (or worse.) I'll leave it to you young whipper snappers. LOL

  13. This really made me think. It has been a long, long time since I have done something silly but it is time. Now I shall look for something. Yes I have slid on hardwood floors and I have ridden down the banister rail on my tooshie. LOL

  16. Oh, this brought a smile to my tired face...I'm not able to run in socks now but I do sometimes take my chair to weird places it isn't built for or wear different socks or shoes on each foot and watch people's reactions...Today, I had cake for breakfast, which while not exactly silly, is at least fun...
