I've eaten a bunch of these guys this week. I don't have any pictures with the legs still on but trust me, once you clip the hairy legs off and bake the bodies (with a little cayenne, virgin coconut oil and pink salt), they are yummy.
Friday Question: What are we?
PS: I might be lying about the legs. Or am I?

I'm pretty sure they're almonds. But legs? have you been eating the family of the singer from Soft Cell?ReplyDelete
Yep. Definitely some kind of seedsReplyDelete
hahhaaa...you'd think a "lady of a certain age" would know what these are but..................ReplyDelete
I'm going to guess some ancient grain like quinoa or something.ReplyDelete
.... now I'd say seeds, Am I right?ReplyDelete
BUT hey what about your legs! They are being talked about all over your blog (well at least the last few posts ... )
Enjoy the remainder of your Friday.
All the best Jan
Juicy tick larva!ReplyDelete
These look a lot like pumpkin seeds. That's my guess this week. Any prizes? Like smelly socks or somethin'?ReplyDelete
Pumpkin seeds. Very appropriate for this time of year. And they sort of have legs before you wash all the pumpkin stuff off.ReplyDelete
Pine nuts, perhaps, they look awfully familiar.ReplyDelete
Maybe I saw some walking by the other day.
Some kind of nut. And I hope you're lying about the legs.ReplyDelete
Look like sunflower seeds.ReplyDelete
My guess would be Pumpkin seeds ..... if you don't chop the legs off they hide all over the kitchen ;-)ReplyDelete
