My First Video

Today is Papam's (grandpa) birthday. He's been gone far too long and I just can't think of a better day to start my video series. Granted, this isn't much of a series (YET) but it's a start. Each clip is under 9 seconds.

PS: Yesterday's answer: Lynda Carter, aka Wonder Woman. Broken celery ribs and moldy Medjool dates will ship, first thing Monday morning. Extra mold for Richard. Unless Tim eats everything. Sometimes these things can't be helped.

Cheers and a GREAT BIG, boogie, boogie, boogie, boogie.

  2. That was the most fun I've had in a long time.

First, because I loved your devotion and commitment to trying to produce a video.

Second, I loved hearing your voice - not anything like I expected… so young and determined.

Okay… now I can't wait until you figure it out and get that video up for all to see.

    Cheers, happy day!

  4. Enjoyed hearing you Ivy. Even if the pix were all the same. Homemade Nutella eh? Good idea, I eat lots of that stuff. I have a friend who says she eats it every day.

    1. Thanks, Jo, My nutella needs another draft. I ended up with Nutella flavoured Tootsie Rolls.

Do you like yours on toast?

    3. Sounds good. I used to put it on banana bread. But due to what it's made of, must make homemade.

  11. "Tim get away from MY mold!" I will never say.

Nice soft voice Ivy, I even had the image moving... all you need to do is shake your laptop until all the ingredient start to mix.

    1. Shake and bake. We might have some moldy dates left. Tim decided to pass and got to the corner dairy hut for a flurry. Do you have those there? Lots of cream and sugar. Evil. Pure evil.

    2. Where I live, the corner dairy hut is the farmer down the road and he shoot anyone getting too close to his dairy 4 legs' maker

  12. Way to go! First step to video goodness, alright! I wonder what the tech issues were? BTW, how did you de-skin your hazelnuts? They look perfect!

    1. The store I hit yesterday only had blanched for sale. But I'll be doing a video about blanching almonds, as the blanched almonds make a wonderful fine flour.

      Thanks for all your support!

  13. Wow, you're way braver than me, putting your voice on the blog. Of course, your voice sounds 100% better than mine, so there's that. I tend to stumble over words (unless I'm reading them). Hee hee hee. :)

    1. I promise you, keeping the logical order was what I had the most problem with in many of the videos that I made, yesterday.

  18. OMG I love your voice.

Tell Tim I've going to sneak over, get some DNA from a glass or something, and then clone you so I can have a Happy Whisk of my very own. Muwahahaha!

Mad? Mad you say? They called me mad at the university. But I will show them all!

Hmmm. I wonder is this is why I have so much difficulty getting a date. :(
