This week marks my 3rd week of walk/jogging again. I absolutely love to jog. We have a killer treadmill named Monster and even if jogging indoors is easier, I don't care. It's still my favorite. This is my meditation. This is where I sweat out toxins and rebuild from the inside out.
So with that, I'm off to the market to get a few things, and then home for chores and my reward, a full set on Monster. Being strong enough even if I have to go slowly for now ...
... best thing ever.
Or as I say, suck on that infections/allergies/immune system and digestive issues. Suck on that.
I love the illustration, You look happy and fit. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I enjoy drawing them.
DeleteI think it is so great that you name the things around you. :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Birdie. Did you get a chance to play with the Nutri-Bullet?
DeleteI love my treadmill, too!
ReplyDeleteCool beans.
DeleteThat's awesome! I use the treadmill at the gym.
ReplyDeleteCool beans.
DeleteGood for you. I rarely break into a jog.
ReplyDeleteHow come?
DeleteWonderful, so glad to hear you are back on the mend!
ReplyDeleteOut run those infections! Yeah!
Each day to move ahead. That's the plan.
DeleteWhoo hoo! I use the treadmill at times, but not to run (I never could get into that). I prefer to walk outside, though. I love the fresh air. Okay, so maybe there's some exhaust in it, but it beats the fitness center, where sometimes I wonder if there's any circulation of air at all! Keep up the good work!!
ReplyDeleteExhaust, too many dangerous fast cars, allergies, not for me.
DeleteI've never been to a gym, but I don't think I'd fancy all the smells.
so glad you are feeling great and jogging again!
ReplyDeleteLong way from great, but much closer than before.
DeleteCongrats on getting back into the jogging and such! I hate jogging outside, but will do it on occasion because I don't have a treadmill and wish I did :(
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of exercise do you enjoy?
DeleteIvy I'm NO coach but I think your posture is all wrong... you should hold the bars and face the monster. Personally, I would not wear a skirt for my walking, but it is ONLY a personal choice.
ReplyDeleteYes you tell them Ivy to suck it up
Great job on your 3rd weeks!
I wondered why I kept falling off the machine. Now I know. Thanks.
DeleteIsn't it nice to be fitter when you have been off your game? Glad you can handle it now.
ReplyDeleteStill a lot wrong with my innards, but my outlook has remained strong and focused. Full recovery is my end goal.
DeleteI missed my walk/jog today because I mowed the grass. My knees always hurt after mowing those side hills and areas too steep for the tractor. Have fun on monster.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried cashews or cherries as post-workout medicine? Really helps with recovery time and inflammation.
DeleteI love that you name your machines/appliances. Very cool. And it sounds like you're doing great. Even cooler. Just got back in and getting ready to shut down. Time to cozy up with honey bunny and watch a movie.
ReplyDeleteThis treadmill was built for runners. Very nice machine, worthy of the name, Monster.
DeleteI'd rather have a treadmill than run outside
ReplyDeleteThat's great, HW. I like walking better adn try to go on a half hour walk about 5 times a week. :) Enjoy. Slowly but surely.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!! Yay for getting on Monster! (That sounds weird, but I'm totally standing by it. lol!!)
ReplyDeleteI walk a lot, but jogging, never.
