For me...the best mosquito repellant has proven to be chemo. I used to get bitten badly every year in my my garden and nary a bite this year. I think I'm radioactive....
Do the bats ever come down real close? Do you remember those giant cordless phones back in the day? I was outside on one once and the darn bat came right to my head.
That must be from Mr and Mrs Off. I don't think my muscle are tones enough to kill anything, but they can beat the shit out of eggs.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, on the eggs.
DeleteI'm gonna go with false.
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever get bit so I can't try. But I want to lean toward false, as well.
DeleteThough, after reading Birdie's comment, I'm leaning toward, yes.
DeleteBe great if it were true.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteI always heard if you slapped them whilst they were biting you it would stop the itch. Never heard this one though. I wonder if it's true.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that one, as well.
DeleteI thought fun facts were all true!
ReplyDeleteI dunno if they are? Some I don't buy, some I do.
DeleteI think I've tried this and it doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteOh bummer.
DeleteExplode? The muscle . . . or the mosquito?
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO
False, in either case.
Possibly both.
DeleteWhile many of us would hope this is true, as mosquitoes are a real nuisance, I don't think it is true.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not sure?
DeleteI would say false.
ReplyDeleteI am leaning that way too but who knows. Maybe the rush of blood helps them explode?
DeleteAnd it would seem this "Harry Parker" is quite the spammer.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I put it in spam. Bugger.
DeleteI really want to try that to see if it works
ReplyDeletePlease do let me know.
DeleteI know if you pinch the area they are on they can't get off and they will explode. It is actually disgusting.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, yuck. So maybe it is true.
DeleteI don't know if that's true, but we certainly have enough specimens to experiment with around my house.
ReplyDeleteI just read Birdie's comment above, so it might work.
DeleteI'm going with false.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
:-)
DeleteAre ya pulling my leg, Miss Wonder Woman? I'm going to have to go with false. It would be nice if it was true.
ReplyDelete:-)

ReplyDeleteYou just might be radioactive.
DeleteSomehow I doubt it, but when next I encounter a mosquito I will offer her my bicep and test it out.
ReplyDeleteIt may be a while though -- we have so many bats that I don't think I've seen more than one or two mosquitoes in the fifteen years we've lived here.
Do the bats ever come down real close? Do you remember those giant cordless phones back in the day? I was outside on one once and the darn bat came right to my head.
DeleteI'll say false....
ReplyDeleteI thought that too but then I read Birdie's comment. So now I'm leaning toward true.
DeleteHi Ivy....
ReplyDeleteWhy can't I see your videos?
I tried everything.....:o/
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Hey Linda - Are you on a tablet? Because I can't view it if I'm on a tablet, but I can on a computer.
DeleteNot sure why?
I would hope it was true but I would say no.
ReplyDeleteWe have bats that help.
cheers, parsnip
Did you see Birdie's comment?
DeleteHow could you pinch the area they are on ? do they not move ?
