SketchBook & Smooches

If all goes to plan, by the time this post is publishes, I'll be apron-deep in bakes, messes and all kinds of food writing fun.

If not, then I'll be resting and using my new SketchBook program that I downloaded for free.  Love that.

It's about that time of year when I take over Hubby's blog, and turn Gothridge Manor into Valentine FUN.

Nothing like a new art program to girly up the place.

  5. You have to make a mess while baking. My kids do and that's half the fun. trick is to get them to clean up. I'll check out Tim's blog next.

    1. I long-grew out of my old art program so I was super duper happy when I saw this art program came partly pre-installed.

    2. I remember you doing it last year… I'm looking forward to what you have up that baker's sleeve of yours.
PS - I like that new toy of yours - I see all kinds of mischief going on over there in the Land of Happy Whisks… enjoy it!

    3. Yes, I grew out of the other art programs so my brain is excited to have something like SketchBook, to learn.

      How goes you?

    1. I've included the link above. Right now I'm still learning it. But from what I saw online, if you're into it, you can get a free version to play with.

    1. Life is short, so we make the most of it. Day went well, I rested yesterday but am getting bunches of chores done today. Homemaker is the best job. I love it.

      How goes you?

  17. Ooh, turning that into Valentine fun will be most interesting to say the least. As for Sketchbook, I tried it but can't say i really it but hey, it was free, as you state. Can't beat that.

    1. Thanks, Michael - It's tradition.

I'm still learning it. There's some things I like but some I find annoying, such as the back button. Super limited. And the erase and not remember where my pen was. But I do enjoy learning, so we'll see how it goes.

Sooner or later though, I will need to move to a more serious art tablet/program.

What did you find you didn't like about it? And were there any features that you enjoyed?
