This past weekend we were gator-deep with expanding Tim's publishing area. We dialed out for pizza, regular for him, cheese-free veggie explosion, for me. And don't you know it, my face broke out in a blotchy rash.
Ack!
Ah well, live and learn. That about wraps it up. Time to drop the lid on this coffin and get some shuteye.
Zzzzzzz.
Ugh, rashes are no fun.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
DeleteAhhh… that was worth a little giggle - you paint such a visual picture in so few words.
ReplyDeletePizza - Rash - Coffin… yup… I've got the whole thing up there on the big screen, technicolor too.
Thanks for the super nice comment. Hope you have an oogie boogie day.
DeleteOh so sorry, is it the gluten? I forget what you are allergic to. Do you know there is a blood test for allergies now? It is expensive though.
ReplyDeleteHey Christine - I can eat wheat without issue but seems though, melted dairy not so much. And even though no dairy, both were cooked next to eat other in the pizza oven.
DeletePizza does that to you? Bummer.
ReplyDeleteThe dairy, melted in the same oven.
DeleteThat is so sad. :(
DeleteThanks, Southpaw. In all truth, I'm gaining far more good from the situation than, bad.
DeleteOh gosh I hope you're not allergic to pizza. If it's damn good pizza though maybe the rash is worth it LOL
ReplyDeleteCrappy dough. Bland vedge.
DeleteWow, that sucks. I hope you are in a better place today after you rise from that coffin :) Mornin' Wonder Woman!
ReplyDeleteThat's okay. Not like I don't make homemade pizza at home all the time, anyway.
DeleteSo ... any gross and fun prizes for those who knew the answer to your blog, today?
Just from being in the same oven?
ReplyDeleteNot good Ivy......not good at all....
My daughter has that problem with gluten....
Hope you are rash free today....
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I'm good today, for sure. Wasn't sure if that was it or not. But at home, I cannot melt butter for anything for Tim, unless I want to be a snot-filled mess.
DeleteHope the day has greeted you blotchy-free! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Blotchy-free and happy.
DeleteI don't eat pizza more than once every 10 years or so, so not a problem I am concerned about. Sorry you got a rash though, not funny.
ReplyDeleteHow come only once every 10 years or so?
DeleteNot a fan of pizza. Especially the North American version. Prefer the ones I ate in Italy, but I bet they have changed these days.
DeleteWhat kind of pizza do you consider NA pizza?
DeleteWhere we live we have many, many different pizza shoppes (chains and privately owned), and not one of them makes pizza the same way.
Then there's the state to state differences, which are huge when talking about privately owned. And a bit bland and boring, if I'm talking chains.
Have you tried making your own? I remember you saying you don't bake.
Gator deep, huh?
ReplyDeleteMy uncle goes for cheeseless pizza, but not out of allergy considerations, just because he doesn't like melted cheese.
I used to always get pizza without cheese for the same reason. I don't like melted cheese on my subs, either.
DeleteYeppers. Gator-deep :-)
Good to hear it didn't last long :0)
ReplyDeleteJust a few hours.
DeleteBless you... hugs...
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
DeleteI read your post, but I don't FB.
Rash? YUKKY! Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite. Big SMILE! Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteI thought you dropped off the earth. How goes the new (ish), job? Welcome back.
DeleteGah!! hope you're all clear real soon! Like, pronto!
ReplyDeleteLasted about three hours.
DeleteIt must have been the small amount of garlic for you coffin type people.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Hahahahaaha.
DeleteI betcha, that's it. Darn garlic.
I can take a vitamin and have a reaction due to the same problem with diary, soy, and iodine /kelp. Lots of vitamins use these items as fillers or such, or mix them in the same place. Today I delayed taking magnesium and calcium pills until after my walk, because something in them is affecting my sinuses. Sorry about the rash!
ReplyDeleteSorry to read this. Sounds like you've got it major with so many allergies. Really, not fun.
DeleteBummer! I wonder what caused it.
ReplyDeleteNice to see a picture on your blog the other day.
DeleteI hope the rash went away quickly. Must have been some cross-contamination on your pizza, eh?
ReplyDeleteI think, Deb, yeah. I'm still learning, which I rather enjoy, even if I looked like a big puffed up raspberry.
DeleteDoesn't sound good! I hope you don't have to much and to long problems from it!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
Working on getting better, thanks.
DeleteI hope it clears up quick and it not to itchy.
ReplyDeleteThree hours and it was gone, thanks.
DeleteI actually got pizza delivered today. First time though I knew the delivery driver. It was a strange surprise
ReplyDeleteWhat place to you like the best?
DeleteSorry about the rash! Hope you got a great sleep! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks and thanks. Love all the posts that you're doing these days. So fun.
DeleteHi Ivy, Bummer. Do you know what caused the rash?
ReplyDeleteThanks and we think the cheese from the big oven of melted cheese. Since I can eat wheat without issues (knock on a skeleton's skull).
