If all goes to plan, by the time this post is publishes, I'll be apron-deep in bakes, messes and all kinds of food writing fun.
If not, then I'll be resting and using my new SketchBook program that I downloaded for free. Love that.
It's about that time of year when I take over Hubby's blog, and turn Gothridge Manor into Valentine FUN.
Nothing like a new art program to girly up the place.
I can see Tim cringing already! Make it look GOOD! :)
ReplyDeleteValentine tradition. Gotta do it.
DeleteI bet Tim is really nervous now.
ReplyDeleteNahhh. It's tradition.
DeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteWill do.
DeleteYou are having fun with that. Tim better look out.
ReplyDeleteValentine tradition.
Deleteall the best and have lots of fun...
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
DeleteAbsolutely love the fun cool look that you're working with and wow, you pretty up Tim's blog? That man is pretty damn secure. Glad you're baking!
ReplyDeleteIt's a Valentine tradition.
DeleteYou have to make a mess while baking. My kids do and that's half the fun. trick is to get them to clean up. I'll check out Tim's blog next.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stephen. Just got the new programs so I haven't taken over his blog yet.
DeleteGlad your new app is super fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI long-grew out of my old art program so I was super duper happy when I saw this art program came partly pre-installed.
Deleteohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fun !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
:-)
DeletePoor husband! Sketchbook sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay, Carole, it's tradition.
Delete"girly up the place" - yup, imagination in full tilt with that one - I can see it now. Lacy bits, here and there. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a once a year Valentine Day takeover tradition. Super duper fun.
DeleteI remember you doing it last year… I'm looking forward to what you have up that baker's sleeve of yours.
DeletePS - I like that new toy of yours - I see all kinds of mischief going on over there in the Land of Happy Whisks… enjoy it!
Yes, I grew out of the other art programs so my brain is excited to have something like SketchBook, to learn.
DeleteHow goes you?
It does look like fun, and Valentine's is close you're right.
ReplyDeleteDo you and husband LMN&O celebrate?
DeleteI'd love to hear more about Sketchbook.
ReplyDeleteI've included the link above. Right now I'm still learning it. But from what I saw online, if you're into it, you can get a free version to play with.
DeleteI love that you have these fun traditions. You gotta be playful with each other. Makes everything so much nicer. And that Sketchbook does look like fun! How went your day?
ReplyDeleteLife is short, so we make the most of it. Day went well, I rested yesterday but am getting bunches of chores done today. Homemaker is the best job. I love it.
DeleteHow goes you?
Too busy with birthday to think about Valentine's yet. But looks like you are going to have fun even if Tim doesn't.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good thing to be distracted with. Enjoy and boogie boogie.
DeleteIt does look like fun!
ReplyDeleteSo fun. Thanks for stopping by today. Loved your posters. Neat idea, for sure.
DeleteLooks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteI love your colorful sketchbook drawings! I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteJulie
Thanks :-)
DeleteSounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
:-)
DeleteOoh, turning that into Valentine fun will be most interesting to say the least. As for Sketchbook, I tried it but can't say i really it but hey, it was free, as you state. Can't beat that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michael - It's tradition.
DeleteI'm still learning it. There's some things I like but some I find annoying, such as the back button. Super limited. And the erase and not remember where my pen was. But I do enjoy learning, so we'll see how it goes.
Sooner or later though, I will need to move to a more serious art tablet/program.
What did you find you didn't like about it? And were there any features that you enjoyed?
