Yesterday, I had a great day writing recipes. Best part, the kitchen was cleared down by three and I was showered and taking notes at the kitchen table, by four.
Other best part, I get to do it all over again, today.
I love that.
Know what else I love? My husband. So after food writing yesterday, I made him these skull & bone chocolates with crushed candy canes.
So fun.
That is definitely love <3
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Wonder Woman! Is it as brutally cold there as it is here? Good day to stay in and work on stuff. Have fun with baking; I'll have fun with photography :)
Yes, so flippin' cold but super duper bright outside. Love it.
DeleteHave fun with photos. I just shot calzones from the oven.
Those are some pretty awesome gaming snacks.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea, I didn't think of that. Might have to send Tim with a bag, when he gets to game in-person again.
DeleteYikes! Scary Snacks! :)
ReplyDeleteMuhahaha.
DeleteThose are really cool!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteYou spoil that man!
ReplyDeleteHe deserves it. After all, he is my honey bunny smoochie face.

And I forgot to say: Happy New Year!

Big Happy New Year wishes to you, Peter. Your painting looks good. Here's to many more in 2015.
DeleteThank you and happy cooking!

Peter
Oh my goodness! You are a real artist with food.
ReplyDeleteThanks - those are molds we got years back from the Halloween store.
DeleteHow goes you?
Yummy!
ReplyDeleteHi William, thanks.
DeleteThey look yummy! So great how you are doing what you love.
ReplyDeleteNow ... if I could only make a living at it. That's my dream.
DeleteThose look cool! How in the world do you find time to bake and cook so much? I'm lucky to even get slop on the table for dinner before I go to work!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry - Because this is my work for the day. This is my writing, the same way your fiction is your writing. Only, we get to eat my writing (most days).
DeletePlus, I don't think of it as slop, lololol. Though I have made a few suppers that looked like it.
Once again, I'm hungry....
ReplyDeleteHey Norma. Your email got deleted when I had to reboot my program. I sent William an email to send to you. When I comment on your posts, I keep getting these weird bounce-backs. Not a big deal, the comment shows up, but wanted to let you know.
DeleteI'm curious, what kind of look does Tim give you when you call him your honey bunny smoochie face? :)
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't even notice, anymore. Been doing it our entire relationship.
Deletethat's pretty cool
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteWow! Those would be great for Halloween hand outs.
ReplyDeleteWe never get trick or treaters out here. How about you? Do you get many. Not even one, for us.

Those are really cool. I love peppermint and chocolate together though I'm not a fan of just chocolate anything.
ReplyDeleteMe too on the chocolate anything. And, it's gotta be good chocolate. Not crap.
DeleteLooks yummy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Matt.
DeleteLife just isn't fair - does Mr. Happy Whisk know just how lucky he is… hmmm, well, does he?
ReplyDeleteI'm sooooooo wanting one of those skulls - I love crushed candy cane…are they left over from Christmas? Darn, I knew I should have stocked up on those little sticks! :P
We both are super duper lucky to have each other.
DeleteGot the candy canes on clearance after Xmas. A quarter for the pack. Not too shabby.
How goes your writing today?
How on earth did you make those?! Inquiring minds want to know!
ReplyDeleteWe bought skull & bone ice cube molds, awhile back at the Halloween store. Just melted the chocolate and added the crushed candy cane. Then popped them in the freezer, as we like to eat them frozen.
DeleteAlso the Dollar Tree sells similar molds during Halloween.
Thanks for stopping, by.
