Baby Burger, Yum!

Poor Tim.  Sometimes I make him food, then don't let him eat it, like this baby burger.  I was all set to hand it over, then I saw this and had to shoot it.

They were good, too.  I might make them again today.

Another thing I want to do today, is purge my bakeware storage area.  I love the NordicWare that I've used for years, but the other stuff can go.  I'm at the stage in my baking where I'd rather have less stuff, but have it be good stuff.

So that's my plan for the day.  Lucky for me, most of my chores were finished yesterday, and I have all ding dong day, to rip out the cabinets and start fresh.

PS:  I also want to bake a cake today.

PPS:  It's a toss between chocolate banana or carrot.

  1. Like the bun. If that were chicken or turkey, I would eat it.

    1. Easy enough to change out the
protein, or to go all veggie heaven.

  2. Sounds like you're going to be a busy chick today. I'd enjoy that burger right about now. Don't care that it's breakfast time not dinner time.

    1. Do you eat foods any time of the day?
We do. Doesn't matter. Burgers for
      breakfast work just as well.

  5. I had carrots for lunch, mixed them with grated beet, some red onions, boiled egg and mayo and that was my lunch because Wednesday is my raw salad day and my cleansing day too :)

How on earth can you choose which cake to make?

    1. The bananas needed eaten so I went
with that. Then I was so excited
that I went to make my second cake,
the carrot but decided, after weighing
      the flour to hold off.

Thanks for the funny comic. Brilliant.

  9. Looks delicious.

I've was thinking about your blog this morning, and I came to the conclusion that if you were to include recipes with some of your posts, it would make for a mighty fine place to hang out. Just saying ..

    1. Hey Wendy. Thanks for the input. You're new here so you might not know that I'm currently writing a bake book, and getting myself geared up to do how-to videos.

In the meanwhile, you'll catch a few how-to posts here and there. Including posts on onion dip, maple frosting, product reviews as well as a few other goodies we have lined up.

Thanks for the drop-in. Hope you see you back to blogging soon. Cheers and boogie boogie.

    3. I appreciate your interest in my work. I don't know that I can help but if I can, I'm happy to. My email thingy is located on the right side bar, near the top.

What's your favorite bread? Hey, how your crazy fan oven doing?

    4. My crazy fan oven is still ... crap. However, since I gave it a clean it is 'slightly' better. How it can burn around the edges (only on one side) is beyond my comprehension.

    5. It's terrible to get such what should be, a nice fan oven, only to have it be that horrible.

I'm sorry it's not better for your bakes. Any chance of returning it for a new one?

    6. No. Have had it 5 years. Should have returned it years ago. Too late now. I shall do my homework next time.

      Live and learn.

    1. lol.

I was headed to make the second one, weighed the flour and then thought, I better wait. But I was THIS close, THIS close I say, to making the second one.

      THIS close.

  11. That looks so good! And the photo is fabulous. The lighting is perfect. What type are you using? Good lighting is super important for a successful food image, and you are certainly getting it right!

So did you bake a cake? Chocolate banana or carrot. If it's carrot, I'm coming right over! Hahaha...

    1. Thanks. That's an OttLite for quilting (or crafts). Love our Ottlites. I had to go with Chocolate Banana because the nanners needed eaten. I made it egg and dairy-free, and Tim couldn't even tell.
