We're Flip Floppin' the House

I'm excited because we're moving the office into the living room and the living room into the office.  But first, I've got paperwork piles to sort, shred, ditch or save.

Once we finish all this ticky tacky stuff then we'll be able to flip flop the house, which gives Tim more room to work on his publishing stuff, and a nice little movie room for us.

Anyway, that's it from me. You Buttfaces, have a fun day.

PS: Thanks again to Martha for the great clown image from yesterday's post.  If you haven't already, please check out her blog, she's funny and is also married to a greatest guy in the world.  We're two rootin' tootin' lucky chicks.

PPS: Also, if you have leftover carrot and celery juicing pulp, it goes great into a hollowed bones, then frozen and enjoyed later.  Takes the girls awhile to eat them, and there's no waste, or extra cost for treats.  It's a win, win.

PPPS: Now I'm really going ....

  1. When I saw the bones I assumed you meant dog treats but now I see them laid out on a plate I am hoping they are not for human family members!

    Great idea by the way.

    1. Thanks. It's a fun way to use up pulp. The pups love it. Other times I'll add the pulp straight into their dog food. With my girls, it's really improved the softness of their fur and Wiggy and Bug don't itch like they used to from dry skin.

The plate is a long narrow plate that fits well in my freezer.

  2. Clever use of leftovers.
Flip flops for feet - remember when they were called something else?

    1. I'm excited for this change. Glad Tim thought of it because it will be nice for him to have so much free work space.

Glad you love your office. So important.

  5. Sorry, but rearranging the house is a "girl" thing. We just do it because it makes you girls happy! LOL

    1. Actually, to be honest. Tim has always moved his stuff around. He likes the change. And it was his idea to flip flop the two rooms. Since we don't need such a big space just to watch NetFlix, DVDS, Amazon and YouTube.

    1. Then you for sure don't want to see my upcoming homemade chicken meatball post. That'll really toss your biscuits.

  7. One time we had a thinner bone but same kind, Miss Wiggy snapped it like a twig. No blood either. I was impressed. But from then on, we went with the thicker ones. Now they just take forever to get the inside prize out.

  8. Hooray for flip-flopping. Although I love wearing them more rather than doing it. We have papers that hubby's going through and shredding. It's amazing to me how much paperwork we use.

    1. It's crazy stuff. Once we get the rooms flip flopped I'm going to have a bill/household station. Keep everything nice.

    2. I love organization! I try hard to stay that way but every few months I have to start over again =P

    3. Having stations helps me. But sometimes, yeah, they get out of hand too.

    1. I also bake with it as well. Just have to be careful not to use a veg/fruit that would hurt the dogs. Other than that, there's lots of fun things do to with the pulp.

    1. Takes a nice long time for them to eat, too. Sometimes they are so pooped afterward, that they take a nap. It's fantastic.

  13. We did a living room re-arrange a little while ago and I can't remember how we lived with it the other way. It is just so much more comfortable now. Good luck with your flip flopping.

Love that you create things that allow for zero waste. So awesome.

    1. Glad to hear your living room is more comfortable now. Isn't it funny when we think, how did I not have it this way before?

Using up the bits is a lot of fun.

  15. I love the hollowed bones idea! You are very creative, girl. And I also love the flip flopping of the house. We do that a lot around here. I always like to put the rooms to good use.

    1. We have such a small space so any way we can make it work, is helpful. Does Spaz eat treats?

      Delete
    2. Spaz doesn't eat treats, just his regular food. I tried when he was younger, particularly because 'it's supposed to be' a great way to train them with certain things, but he doesn't care for anything. But that's okay. Whatever makes him happy.

    3. I love that Spaz. He's little face gets me every single time. So cute. And yeah, I agree, whatever makes him happy.
