So Flippin' Good

Bug stole my spot.  Here's my breakfast.  Won't be around much this week.  Still resting, but able to walk better.  Getting in some kitchen and coupon time.  Rest the rest.   Good luck to all you AZ Heads.  That wraps it up for me.

PS: Tomorrow will be 94 days posting in a row.  10 to go.

PPS: For supper last night, I lightly boiled frozen shrimp (which can be gross), in my homemade spicy veg stock.

So flippin' good.

PPPS: Now I'm really going ...

  2. My cat steals my spot all the time and when I try to move her, she loudly voices her disgust with my rudeness :)

  6. That juice looks yum! I'll have to try it. Nothing like local and raw ingredients.

I hope you get some rest in.

  7. Glad you're able to walk better!

Did you put one of Tim's sleestak's in a blender to make that drink? ;)

  8. Look at that face! Bug is adorable. A face like that will let you get away with a lot of things. :) That looks very refreshing. I want to make it 'cause of so curious about how it tastes!

    1. I love this drink. And for the Canada seedless, since it's wrapped (for us), it doesn't have that slim crap. So I get to use the skin, which I love. And the oranges with the hint of ginger (and spinach), just make my tastebuds dance.

Yes, she gets away with a lot looking that cute. And, she hands over her belly and flops that little face to the side. Too much!

    1. We get the seedless shipped to us from Canada and they're fantastic. Excellent for juicing because the skin can remain on, and they're juicy. Plus, they taste great. Even just for snacking.

They also ship something called CUTECUCUMBERS and oh my gosh, are they ever cute.

To check out the Canadian hot house where the seedless are grown, copy and paste the link below.

      Enjoy and boogie boogie.

PS: The Bella Sweets (peppers), are also super duper delicious. Good stuff.

    1. Suzie - I copied and pasted the same answer I gave to Birdie though for you, I have to add that these look like English cukes, but are marketed as Canadian Seedless Cucumbers.

    2. Totally forgot to add that where I live, this same cuke also gets called a burpless. I guess something about the seeds being gone which is supposed to reduce gas and farting.

Whatever name you fancy (English Cucumber, Canadian Seedless, or Burpless), it's still a great juicing cuke.

      So flippin' good.

  15. Bug is the cutest. I live with a spot stealer too - totally worth it. :)

Scrolling through the comments I learned all about Canadian seedless cucumbers. I call them English, and I find it so neat they are called Canadian too. So cool. They are my favourite cucumber. I don't mind the field cucumbers from time to time, but the english/canadian ones are just so easy. Just wash, chop, and eat!

    1. At one of the stores, the sign above the cukes reads: Canada Greenhouse Grown Seedless Cucumbers. Other stores just have Seedless Cucumbers, another store has them as English and sometimes, we also see signs that read Burpless Cucumbers.

I agree. Wash, chop, eat. So flippin' good.

In other news, I got the fish flyer for a local store. Seafood from Canada as well. We get a lot from you guys.
