I Can't Think of a Post Title (again)

Our weekend was non-stop working on the house.  Gotta say, I'm loving the new movie room and the new office is huge.  For the first time in 11 years together, we now have all our writing/publishing/zine/gaming/coupon stuff in one space.

We still have more work to do, but the bulk of the job is done, and these rooms are up and running.   So cool.

Also cool, my spine is doing better.  Still have to rest today but that's okay because the girls at the chiropractor's office gave me a new stack of coupons, and soon I'm going to eat chocolate chip waffle sticks - in the movie room.

Thanks to Elsie for giving me the idea.  I tell ya, I make chocolate chip pancakes all the time but it never dawned on my to add chocolate to waffles.   Never even thought of it, until she mentioned it in Friday's Question.

So thanks Elsie, because I am diggin' the combo.

Only I don't have a picture because the waffle stick iron is preheating as I type.  Meanwhile, you Boogerbutts have a safe and healthy fourteenth day of the fourth month.

PS: I am also down to a 4 in severity of the spine, which is very good.  When the doctor told me I was a four today.  I said, "You know, I feel like a four today."

Feels good.

These don't taste as good as waffles.

  1. Glad your spine is feeling better. Just site back and clip.
I actually put peanut butter on my pancakes and waffles.

  2. I'd put fruit in waffles too, and even onions for savoury ones :) In other news, I dyed and boiled tones of eggs and arranged them all around HOLLYWOOD SPY

    1. Never had onions in my waffles but I do like fried chicken and waffles. Oh my gosh, so so so so good.

      Cool beans on the eggs.

  5. Glad your spine is feeling better and you got the rooms all moved around. What a nice feeling. Love the "new" aspect in a not new space. Enjoy it! Also your chocolate chip mention is encouraging me to make cookies... Also happy clipping all those coupons.

    1. I can't even express how peaceful the movie room is. And it's great for reading in there. Even sewing, coupons. There's enough space to open a folding table. Music in there as well.

And what's cool is right now, I came out to move around a little and my folding table with coupons can just stay right there. It's not a clustermuck.

Cookies? So yummy. Have you ever tried those mini chocolate chips? They are on sale this week so I want to get them for waffles.

    2. Haven't baked with the mini ones but want to get them for banana bread. Add a little chocolate to it.

  6. I'm so jealous about the office space. So...so...jealous.

    1. We never made this kind of jump before. We live in a trailer so it's like being in a long hallway. Only now the kitchen opens into like a studio double office area. But there's all this open space too.

Is there any way you can flip flop your house about? This was Tim's idea because he said before, the only thing we were using the big office for was the couch and TV. Well, we don't need a big space for that.

      Boy, I'm chatty today.

Where do you write when you are at home?

    2. LOL. Just typed an answer on my own blog in response to your comment. Most of my writing is done on the worst seat on an ugly, old, foul couch in front of the television. That is, when I can wrest my laptop away from my wife.
(I should say, my "laptop computer" I suppose, for clarity and family viewing purposes.)
Hers died a few months ago and it was either replace hers or the kids'--guess whose needs won?

  7. A four is decent. I'm happy for you, Whisk. I can't wait for the day you report a zero to us. I love that the ladies at your chiro keep coupons for you. That's sweet of them. I hope you're enjoying Lucy and getting plenty of rest (and I hope we get pics of the chocolate chip waffles tomorrow!).

    Hugs.

    1. Hugs to you as well. Though I so wish I could give you a chocolate chip waffle stick. Now you've got me on a kick. Waffle sticks for everyone.

Just up now to do a little moving about. Toss in laundry and prep supper. Then Tim games tonight and it's back in the movie room for me.

      I love saying movie room.

Movie room, movie room, movie room.

    2. And, I love "hearing" you say movie room! What fun for you two! Hubby's gaming night is every other Friday. I can't remember what game he just started playing. Begins with an M..fantasy card game..not Magic. Ugh. It'll come to me later.

Hmm, I'm hungry. I think I'll make a frozen waffle. Where are you when I need you?

    3. I'll teleport you some. We have dark chocolate, milk chocolate and semi-sweet. And if the snow stops, I might run to down and get mini chocolate chips.

      So fun.

    1. I managed to snag a couple photos before I ate them today. Only I really can't see the chocolate too well. So you know, I'm gonna have to make them again. Twist my arm.

  14. Glad your spine is doing better! Back injuries and pains are the worst. Connected to everything. You move your pinky finger? Your back hurst. Move a toe? Your back hurts. Absolutely awful!

    1. They're no fun for sure. Thanks for the comment. Hope you goobers had fun in game last night. Sorry about Bug. She gets bratty sometimes. I dunno why. But then as soon as we put in her the Movie Room (caps), with me, she passed out and went to sleep.
