What Are You Eating ????

I'm having a pile of home-baked spicy garbanzo beans and a mound of rice called, Black Japonica. Don't know much about it, other than it's from Lundberg and was within my budget. Also in the oven are baby button mushrooms that I'll cover in garlic and paprika gravy.

Oh my gosh, my belly is gonna be so happy.

What are you having? Or had? Or will have? Really, whatever you're eating, I'm interested to hear about it.

  1. I had a sandwich and pretzels for lunch. No idea what's for dinner.

  2. This morning was coffee and a cheese pastry and just a few minutes ago I ate a handful of peanut butter filled pretzels. Doesn't sounds like dietary victory, but I'm eating something and that's a win!

  9. Your meal sounds wonderful.
Breakfast was steel cut oatmeal. Lunch was cut veggies on the road, then yogurt, brown rice and strawberries all sweetened with a spoonful of apricot jam. Dinner was a chickpea/sweet potato/green pea with biryani curry paste.

  11. Went to the Mandarin, our favourite Chinese buffet for lunch so stuffed myself. For supper we just had some home made tomato soup and I also finished off with fresh pineapple.

Today we've had two meals Brunch and Dinner.
Brunch was sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs and then dinner was chicken breast cooked in butter with buttery mashed swede (Rutabaga) a few mushrooms and lightly steamed broccoli followed by low carb fruits and double cream ... Yummy it was!

Hope your weekend will be a good one.

    All the best Jan
