Mushrooms stems and pieces. Otherwise that first pic looks like a section of intestine, and I know you are too nice to post that.
This was so easy... The first pic is either a root or the belly button of Humpy Dumpy. The second one are little Chinese hats for Martha's little people.
BAHAHAHA! Are they up for grabs 'cause I'll take 'em :)
Number one is a ginger root and picture two is a dried out lima bean...no...a different kind of bean I don't know... hehe Have a great weekend!
I say ginger and lentils!
Once again, I'm clueless.
I'll guess ginger and sliced ginger :-)
Quite frankly, I don't have Clue One. And I'd be skeered to reach into the "Mystery Bag of Goodies" -- could by ANYTHING in there!
Ginger for the first one anyway
I know anyway so I won't take part. Got a lot of it didn't you?
Ginger root and sliced something-or-other. :)
The first ones are sand worms from Dune!
I'd say the second picture is of lentils but not too sure that the First pic is of ginger root.
I was thinking ginger root for the first one but it looks bare. Not sure on #2.
Ginger root the first picture. Not sure about the second.Your mystery bag sounds very ... well ... mysterious!!!Happy Friday WishesAll the best Jan
Hey Ivy,Galangal, part of the ginger family. The second photo looks like perogies. I could of done an innuendo with first pic.Have a nice Friday.Gary :)
The first one makes me think of ginger root. The second one...nothing...absolutely nothing. If I get one right can I still have a try at the mystery bag of goodies? I'm game.
Boogerbutts: Thanks to all who played and all who were willing to stick their hands in the Mystery Bag of Goodies. Personally, I'm not brave enough.First photo is galangal which in my area also goes by the name, Thai ginger. I fancy mustardy spice of the root. And I love it microplaned into homemade dressing, and I LOVE it with lentils. So flippin' good.Speaking of lentils, that's the second picture. Although, I enjoyed Richard's answer. He's funny. That's all from me, it's Sunday here. Chores are done, brunch on the way. Thanks for reading and boogie boogie.
Ah, would never have guessed that the second picture was lentils!I was about to guess dumplings of some kind!
An alien life form...?
I think in ginger first Ivy but never thhink the second was lentils, naughty :) :)
Ginger root and lentils?
Doh! I got so excited thinking I had the answer I didn't see you'd already posted it!
If I wouldn't have looked at other comments, I don't think I would have a clue.
The first one is ginger, the second one, I have no clue.
