Almost everything in my kitchen is new since I had to buy it all within the last year for my new apartment. But I believe the very latest thing I purchased was one of those little egg timers that you put in the boiling water with the eggs.
A little weighted nylon cloth for putting over top of foods to be microwaved. I had one gifted to me a year or two back and it is also useful for covering the top of an open wine bottle on the table. Sometimes I need both at once.
A (pre-owned) bread maker which we don't want as we like to make the bread in the traditional way. The previous present was a ceramic salt and pepper grinding set which both work brilliantly.
Because a relative had given it to them and they didn't want it . It was hereitisandrunaway. Yes I love my grinding set after many years of peppermills being bought and never working for very long.

ReplyDeleteDid you like buying all new kitchen stuff? That's my favorite kind of shopping. Clothes and shoes, meh, don't care. But kitchen stuff. Yeah, baby.
DeleteI think my latest thing was my Magic Bullet to make my smoothies with. Wore out one before that one.
ReplyDeleteAre you soon to wear this one out?
DeleteIt's been AGES since I bought something new (I think). Maybe the cookie sheet? It looks the newest anyway. Haha! :)
ReplyDeleteFor you, I should have asked, what's the last book you bought?
DeleteI bought my daughter an ice cream maker and a waffle maker...she loves them.
ReplyDeleteCool beans. How about for you? Anything new in your kitchen?
DeleteA can opener... can it get cooler than that? No need to answer, EVERY thing else is cooler than that!
ReplyDeleteWow, fancy man and his new can opener. Is that manual or electric?
DeleteUm, a mug?
ReplyDeleteAre you asking me or telling me?
Delete:-)
one of those countertop ovens
ReplyDeleteCool beans. I love those.
DeleteI think the last thing for my kitchen was a new salt grinder and pepper grinder. They work good too.:) Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteExcellent that they work good.
DeleteA pizza cutter. That thing is great - even for cutting brownies.
ReplyDeleteBrownies, you're funny.
DeleteMy son bought me a pot to cook pasta. He was desperate.
ReplyDeleteLol.
DeleteA bread machine I think. Not sure what Brie's last one was...maybe her food processor?
ReplyDeleteTwo very fun toys. What bread have you made? Does Brie make her vegan pate in her new food processor?

ReplyDeleteVery neat. I like when something is so useful, that we get a second one and use that, too.
DeleteMagic Bullet.
ReplyDeleteHaven't used it yet !
cheers, parsnip
Hope you get to play soon.
DeleteMicrowave - the other one went belly up! LOL
ReplyDeleteBelly up? Oh boy. Glad you got a new one.
DeleteA (pre-owned) bread maker which we don't want as we like to make the bread in the traditional way.
ReplyDeleteThe previous present was a ceramic salt and pepper grinding set which both work brilliantly.
Why did they give it to you? Glad you enjoy your grinding set. Very nice.
DeleteBecause a relative had given it to them and they didn't want it . It was hereitisandrunaway.
DeleteYes I love my grinding set after many years of peppermills being bought and never working for very long.
Did you find the bread maker a new home? I have a friend who has very sore hands and for her, the machine is of much help.
DeleteNew kettle - important to boil my water for my early morning cuppa ... well for my daytime and night-time cuppa's too!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Neato. Glass or something else? A few weeks I bought a glass one and I love how clean my tea tastes.
DeleteMy wife purchased a French fry slicer. It actually works!
ReplyDeleteCool beans.
DeleteA very boring cheese grater, that took the end off my finger the first time I used it!
ReplyDeleteOhhh no. Sorry you sliced the end of your finger off.
DeleteMy Nutri-Bullet. And before that was Acti-fry.
ReplyDeleteAre you having fun with your Nutri-Bullet? I don't know what an Acti-Fry is?
DeleteLook up the Acti-Fry! I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you love about it the most?
