This is what my writing day looked like, Monday. I did a few different batches of allergy-friendly ice cream sandwiches. This one below, has 5g of homemade organic cacao powder, but the cookie didn't taste of cacao.
Back to the drawing board.
But not now. Now it's after midnight (again), and it's been a long, good day. Even got some new chocolate and new cacao to play with (more on that later).
Right now, I'm about to hit the slab.
That looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat's your favorite frozen treat?
DeleteWow, anD good that you are ok with peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteKnock on a skeleton's skull. So far NO problems. But it helps that I only eat organic peanuts.
DeleteI don't usually eat ice cream sandwiches but I had an Oreo one last night.
ReplyDeleteDid you ever see the gay pride Oreo cookie? A rainbow of fun.
DeleteMmmm. That looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to pick your brain, Ivy, when I get to my heroine who has her own peanut-free food business from home. :)
Neat on the character. My door is always open. Though I do eat peanuts, but only organic.
Delete:)
DeleteI see your smile face, and I raise you a winkie face ;-)
DeleteIt looks delicious! Your days are pretty awesome. Today...out into the garden I go. Sunny and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGarden work sounds good. I just made lunch (ice cream), and soon, I'm headed back to dish.
DeleteYummy!
ReplyDeleteWhat's your favorite ice cream?
DeleteLooks yummy…
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the taste though. Maybe the next batch will be the one!
Taste was good. Just not of Chocolate. What's your favorite ice cream?
DeleteThe three basics… Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry all top the list - depending on my mood one of these is my favourite.
DeleteThat's a good three. I might have to do a Friday question about ice cream and frozen treats.
DeleteSmooth or crunchy peanut butter?
ReplyDeleteCareful hitting the slab. Sounds painful.
Gary, who likes Cornwall double clotted cream, ice cream, in case you might ask :)
Depends on what I'm baking but if it's just on toast, smooth. You?
DeleteAh, clotted cream, I never had the joy of tasting what I hear is super duper yummy.
This looks absolutely delicious :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by here. I've never been to your blog before, so I popped over. Wow, what a great cover. Super well-done.
DeleteCheers and boogie boogie.
And yes I do love PB soooo much--nt so much in ice cream though but I'm sure it;s good, or at least the cookie part.
ReplyDeleteBTw, no, you would never see Barnes, even if in London--not a terribly touristy part even though central and right near Hammersmith bridge which is beautiful.
I'm not much of a tourist trap kind of traveler. More the off road kind of adventures. Those are fun.
DeleteSo now, if I ever make it to London, I know to hunt for the Hammersmith Bridge :-)
Ps. Are all the books on the side your faves or ones you;ve just read? Quite the sci-fi buff, I see. I love that about my Alexandra--she is so too but more so movies or TV shows than reading sci fi per se.
ReplyDeleteI love how that ship art looks like a dragon, no less.
Those are adverts for a few of my Blogger buddies. I'm super duper proud of them for writing their books.
DeleteWhat a tasty and refreshing treat! You always come up with the best recipes, Ivy!
ReplyDeleteJulie
Thanks, Julie.
