Hello Boogerbutts: It's a little chilly here this morning, but overall, very nice. I'm half-ready for the day. Got my jam bottoms on, but the rest of me is dressed. I'm moving slow and feeling lazy. Which is not a bad thing after such a good week. I was even strong enough to walk the treadmill three different times this week, one hour each.
Hot dog. And, dig this, no new rashes this week. I still have the underlying base-rash but even that's slightly calmer. I'm slowly healing, double hot dog!
Now onto our weekend Fun Fact. It is true or false?
Similar but it doesn't get to be the same when I put my finger on it. Does seem to alter colour though.
ReplyDeleteHey Jo. Forced my butt out the door and got more asparagus. Two big bunches. Yum, yum, yum.
DeleteInteresting, and glad you had a good week!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm enjoying your post-it drawings. Happy Saturday.
DeleteI'm wearing my jam bottoms too -- The Muppets. With a War of 1812 t-shirt. Quite a fetching combo, if I do say so myself.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the fetching combo, indeed.
Deletewell that's weird
ReplyDeleteI agree. Neat too, but yes, weird.
DeleteClose enough, anyway!
ReplyDeleteYes, close for me too but not all the way matching. Until I stood up and did it that way, then it was even closer to the same.
DeleteThat's really weird.
ReplyDeleteGood news on no rashes.
These interactive True or Falses are fun. Thanks for playing.
DeleteSort of.
ReplyDeleteI never believe these things even when I see them
For me it was very similar but then when I stood up and did it, both matched much better.
DeleteNeat stuff.
Not the same color for me. But close.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear your rashes are getting better.
cheers, parsnip
Very close for me and then when I stood up and did it, it was even closer.
DeleteFun stuff.
Is that like the picture of that damn dress?
ReplyDeleteMy memory is sucking, today. Which dress?
DeleteTrue -- but I must admit I only know that because I recently saw it on a documentary. For those who say the boxes don't look the same, try completely covering the fake shadows and highlights where the boxes meet. Your finger probably won't work -- try using small piece of paper large enough to cover the entire shadow/highlight area at the juncture. If even the tiniest bit of the shadow/highlight still shows, the boxes will still look different. However, the color of the two boxes actually is the same. The fake shadow and highlight tricks your brain into thinking they're different.
ReplyDeleteYour trick works, thanks. Also works well if I stand or stand over the tablet. Very cool.
DeleteYes, I saw part of that same documentary. But something happened and I didn't get to finish it.
Did you go out for Free RPG Day?
Very odd....
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteNow if I could figure out how to make my picture look like a younger, wiser, with it, woman, then I'd be interested. Will lighting do that? :)
ReplyDeleteHere's what my Mamam would say in her thick Hungarian accent, "You never mind. You is beautiful the way you are."
DeleteOdd indeed. :) Ivy, as for the language police, as we call them, they are very real! If you look up Office Quebecoise de la Langue Francaise you will find them. It is sad for sure. The reason we call them police is because they kind of 'patrol' businesses, looking for any English, and telling the business owners that they MUST comply with the language laws here, meaning they must have French on their signs, menus, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm still confused. What happens when they don't comply? And why aren't these guidelines set up prior, to the stores opening?
