Night Vision & Pile of Poo

Guess where I'm writing this post from?  Outside.  It's Friday night here, and the peepers are going nutso.  Both pups are chillin' with me outside.  If I can get the night vision camera to work I'll show you what it looks like.

Meanwhile, Saturday morning Tim and I have plans to get the last of the extra table empty of crap.  When we got our new coupon station/zine workbench, all the stuff that I didn't know what to do with, went on a folding table.

Now it's one big pile of poo.  Must get sorted and put our double office back to tip top shape.

Before I go to bed tonight I'll make a batch of bagel dough to stick in the fridge.  In the morning I'll shape and bake for breakfast.  For lunch, chicken and waffle sticks.

Oh yeah, life is good.

Now I'm gonna go see if I can get this night vision camera to work.  You all have a killer Saturday and boogie boogie.

PS: I'm back but without night vision photos.

PPS: Please enjoy a homemade bagel, instead.

  1. Homemade bagels...
We have a corner of the kitchen counter that starts to look like that pile of poo. I try to attack it once a week before it takes over.

  2. those bagels do look delightful!
I've just watched MTV's HOUSE OF FOOD finale in which a boy made a mistake by putting the nyoki dough in the fridge over night....

    1. Thanks, Dezzy.

I have no idea what that show is. But thankfully, the dough I make works great overnight, yeast and all. Works great on the counter too, really either way will do.

      Happy Saturday.

    2. You haven't watched it? It's about ten or twelve young people (some of them hot too) who are put in a house together and for a few months they compete in cooking in order to win a prize and an apprenticeship in a restaurant of a LA's big chef. It's not bad, if you don't mind the drama of a reality show :)

    3. No, never even heard of it. Sounds like you enjoy it though. Do they get voted off each week?

    4. No, they let four of them go right before the finals and the other four or five of them got to present their own recipe in the finals, a recipe that they think would be their restaurant signature meal.

    1. Thanks. That's a very old picture taken with one of our older cameras.

      How goes you today?

  4. Old bagels??? You're teasing me with old bagels???? Oh well, doesn't matter. Not like I'm going to eat them anyway, huh? Time to get the hubby up and get me some breakfast. I'm hungry now!! :)

    1. Old bagels, yes. Your comment made me laugh too. But I didn't have them ready last night when I wrote this post.

      Have a killer weekend, Stacy.

  5. I still have lots of piles of junk all over my apartment. I need to buy two more pieces of furniture before I can deal with them.

    1. What pieces of furniture do you need to get next? How is the new pad doing? Does it feel like home yet?

Shame the night-vision photos didn't turn out. Would have been fun to see :)

Yeah, I thought this thing had night vision, but I wasn't able to find it.

How goes you? Eating anything yummy this weekend?

    2. No, nothing spectacular. Probably heat something up from the freezer (homemade of course) ... love those kinda meals. Nice and easy for a Sunday night :)

    3. Homemade from the freezer sounds good to me, too. Not sure what we'll eat tonight (Saturday night here). We were going to have chicken and waffles but then we pigged out on bagels. I've got some organic grass feed hamburg defrosting, too. Might save that for tomorrow.

Do you like to prep a lot of your meals ahead of time? I used to do that more when I worked outside the home. It was always super nice to have something on the ready.

    4. Yes, I usually make extra for just that very reason. And funnily enough, they often taste nicer than the first time. Or is it that I haven't had to cook them from scratch ... ? Hmm, I suspect that may be the reason.

  8. Speaking of junk, it's time to do some cleaning up around here. I'm a minimalist, and when things start to pile up, I go a little nutso :)

Homemade bagels!? HOLYMOLY! I have never in my life had a homemade bagel. In fact, I've never known anyone who made that. Amazing.... Trying to catch up on blogs. Crazy busy weekend!
